Navy +14

Love service academies getting points, especially in revenge situation. Navy numbers in this situation are amazing. Navy as PK or dog trying to avenge a PK or dog loss: 34-5 ATS last 39 if their opponent is off of a loss (14-1 ATS if opponent is off of a loss and Navy is off of a win). Navy is also 19-9 ATS in last 28 when going for revenge vs Notre Dame. Notre Dame lost their first game of the season against FSU and they could be in letdown spot here despite the extra week to prepare.

I had ND as a lean but Navy tends to play them tough. May have to rethink this considering YOUR record! :)

Love it, wish I'd gotten the +17 available at one point instead of the +13.5 opening #.

The only thing that I'm afraid of is 'if' Navy get down by 2 or more TDs early..they're not the type of offense to make a comeback and a possible backdoor.

Had some time today so I played with the numbers. I was interested in teams after their first loss. Road & neutral site favorites after their first loss in the regular season (6 or more wins, regular season game) are 1-12 ATS as long as they were not favored by 11 or more in that loss. Having extra rest (bye) did not help them: in 2008 Tulsa went to Houston as -4 favorite and lost 30-70 and in 2006 Florida was 2 TD favorite against Georgia and won only 21-14.

Small to medium play on Army +3. Air Force is 2-13 in last 15 games played away for home and those two wins came against Georgia State this season (a team that is 0-16 vs division I teams since last season) and Wyoming (1 point win, during their 1-7 start two years ago). Needles to say that AFU went 0-2 ATS in those two road wins. They are 2-12 ATS in last 14 away from home covering twice as double digit underdogs.

Yikes.... Navy looks like they can't stop ND. I sense a blowout if Navy doesn't do something.

No biggie, Parga is still wayyyy ahead with all his winners in the past. If this loses its just a couple of tears in a bucket.
