Good Morning Men,

The American people have spoken and GWB is still my Commander-In -Chief. This old Marine will do everything in his power to support the brave men & women who are serving around the world who guarantee that we enjoy the freedoms that we share by virtue of being the greatest nation in the world. It was fun sparing with everyone on this board but I still say that even if I didn't agree w/ everyone , I would still fight for your right to voice your views.

First off, thanks for your service to this country. Unlike Cheney, Rove or Limbaugh I would never degrade the character of a man who served in the Military when I did not ... that is what I really find offensive about the Neo-Cons
Suprised on your views ... I always thought the Commander in Chief was not suppose to take troops into harms way??

America spoke ... yes they did ... the sad part was most Bushies I spoke to were clueless on most subjects and bottom line: this country is screwed as Bush as a lameduck with a Republican controlled senate is a nitemare

Not putting troops in harm's way? How do you do that? You can say what you want about Iraq but you can't guarantee the troops won't be put in harm's way because their skills might be needed.

FWIW, Bush isn't a lameduck because they (the Republicans) control the House and even increased their hold on it. They increased the Senate majority by 2 with 2 others having leads with most precincts reporting. This is just a hunch but are these other people clueless because they disagree with you? I'm seeing this type of reasoning more and more and it blows my mind.

You will NEVER see a US Marine disobey a direct order. I still have 0 respect for Bush and his gang of draft-dodging neocons. They remind me of the boys on the block who were hiding out in Community Colleges during the Vietnam War. Now these boys are wearing FDNY caps and are rattling their sabers. I lost a brother in law and a nephew in the WTS attack. I lost many brave Marines in the War. I was always more anti-Junior than pro-Kerry. I just hope that Presidents de-facto Cheney & Rove let the military run the foreign war on terror and that we take as few casualities as possible. I have faced far more tragic times that a mere 4 more years of Cheney. Kerry lost, lets get back to the business at hand.

Good to see you back on the forum.

The only positive I took out of this is I have realized I am in way over my head when competing against professional gambler and bookies and oddsmakers the way they manipulated the odds yesterday. Thus I will only continue to make small bets for entertainment value only. It was a good lesson for me.

Watch for my posts in the college & NFL threads. This is the time of year when I will make good $$$$$ in sports gambling. My strongest sport is college hoops. I have a couple of plays coming up this weekend. I lost $10 G's on Kerry. All the money's that I make this year in football will go to my Marines of the 1st Battalion 7th Regiment and their families. We are already sending personal supplies to the men in Iraq up on the Syrian border and their families at 29 Stumps. Keep your head down, better days are coming!
