slvrbln,

Already got down on UCLA. This one shouldn't be close.
I'll be attending the USC / CAL game. It should be a good one. I do think USC is the class of the pac ten, but I like what Tedford brings to the Bears. They dont quit, as evidenced by thier performance against K. State..However, I feel the bears are a year or two from being a major pac 10 contender. I'll just watch this one and enjoy.

ripper nice play on ucla. very nice situation for a cover. i think they took alot of positive out of the game with ou last week. just gave up some big plays (ncaa record for perkins 3tds off punt returns). their young offense put some #'s on the board against ou's highly toughted dfense in norman and has looked better each and every game. that game seasoned the young players to college fball. ucla's dfense really was the highlight. even though the final score doesn't show it. sandy just doesn't have the talent. ucla is looking for blood. gl ripper.

For anyone that is interested I'll post this here, since my post doesn't get many hits.

UCLA Bruins are looking to get healthy this Saturday at home after last weeks thrashing by the #1 Oklahoma Sooners. How better to do this than to bring in a San Diego State team that is 0-10 straight up and 1-9 ATS versus the Bruins in their last ten outings. Better yet the Aztecs are 0-5 in the last five on the road in Los Angeles. UCLA may be 1-2 but the losses are to Big 12 powers Colorado by two points and the thumping from Oklahoma. San Diego St. may be 3-1, but two of those wins are against I-AA opponents, and not even good ones in Eastern Washington and Samford. This is a Bruin team that returns fourteen (14) starters and has beaten SDSU by an average of twenty-six (26) points since this series started in 1985. Tyler Ebell who rushed for 1000 plus yards and Q.B. Drew Olsen who threw for 750 plus as a back-up are the offensive threats. More importantly UCLA returns its top two receivers Craig Bragg and Tab Perry who combined for over ninety (90) receptions.

This is a game that has seldom been close and UCLA is 24 ˆ 9 ATS versus non-conference opponents in its last thirty-three games. Better yet the Bruins are 9-3 -1 at home in their last thirteen outings, and despite the Oklahoma game possess the #8 rated pre-season defense. New coach Karl Dorrell has installed the vaunted west coast offense he employed at Washington so successfully while its offensive coordinator. SDSU has had trouble running the ball against the likes of Samford and Eastern Washington much less UCLA. If you‚re one dimensional, the well coached team‚s line-up and make you go to your weakness. This will be true today.
