Are you kidding me......2 weeks ago we saw NE come out like a caged bull against the Bengals and I don't see that bull simmering down anytime soon. The Jets put everything they had into the Denver game and treated that like their super bowl and they still didn't cover the spread.

NE at home, against a shitty team like the Jets, they will win by 14+. I know, the Jets and the Patriots, they play each other tough, but have you see Tom Brady the last two games? Close to 600+ Yards passing - 6 TD's, 0 INT and that trend continues against the Jokes, I mean the Jets....

LAY IT BIG ON NE....

The Ridley, Mayo, and Connolly injuries had me sprinkle a little on NYJ +10 last night while it was still there.

NE has been favs of more than 4pts once this year. And they failed.

Also, last 2 seasons, games between these two at Gillette were decided by 3pts. And 3 of last 4 overall decided by 3pts.

It is the Jets though, that's why I only played small instead of the norm.

Despite being biased, there is no way in hell I am going to listen to or read another Jets thread claiming they are going to cover. I have been burned way too many times by the Jets, learned my lesson years ago when they started Mark Sanchez.

With that said, Ridley is out and I think it will make a difference. I'm not sure how big, yet, but I am on NE small until I watch them play a game without Ridley. I will agree with the OP though, they are better than people think, and everyone who thought the sky was falling last weekend looked pretty silly.

Bet Pats if the line is decent or this game is a no bet. I haven't checked them out, I'll probably wait and place a small bet on NE last second. GL.

Short week for both teams. Division rival game and if there is any game Jets will get up for its this one. Doesn't matter who is injured for these teams this week, it will be a 3-7 point difference. Jets +10 is my lean

I imagine when NE was struggling you didn't quite think of Brady and the Patriots as you do now. Be careful with this one.

I swore not to bet Jets again, lol. Having said that, it is analysis like yours that allows the books to win big. Nothing is as easy as it looks, especially in this business....although I am not betting the Jets again, I would be very careful of this one with the Pats.........G2U.

Saw this reasoning last week...........Geno is horrific, cant put another dime on him. Lost every Jets bet this year, thinking that "this must be the week", lol. GL2U in whatever you play.

Couldn't agree more. There will be much better spots this weekend. Too many unknowns in this game. This game just screams don't bet me.

Jets last 2 games: lose by 31 on road and then by 14 at home.
Patriots last 2 games: win by 26 at home and then 15 on road.

Why is the spread at about 10? Not more like the 13.5 it was last year for their TNF matchup after NE beat BUF by 2pts with an end of regulation FG the sunday prior. This time they cruise past BUF, have more issues, and spread is less??? and the Jets are perceived to be worse this year than last year, even though they just got spanked by 5 straight playoff caliber teams. This spread screams take NE!!

Also, New England is 18-2 overall but only 5-15 ATS in their last 20 games as double digit home favs.

I thought your first post said you were on the Jets. With injuries I don't think either side is screaming a bet.

Line fr 47 came down to 45 cus the weather forecast that Thur night Foxborough will be rain. This will be not an easy passing game. Who runs the ball well have it covered. Pats by 17 or Jets by 3

that last NE game was a lot closer than the final score looked. It was a one score game with about 8 min. left in the fourth quarter. Denver takes a pic to the house at the end of the game to cover against the jets. Divisional game which has been rather close the last couple meetings. I like the jets. with that being said I hate to bet on the jets. So I might just stay away.. or place a small wager on the jets.

Actually, if it weren't for a meaningless pick 6 they only lose to Denver last week by 7 (and cover). Aside from the beatdown in SD, their other three losses to GOOD teams are by 7 points, 8 points, and 7 points.

Look at what these 5 QBs have done vs. the Jets this season.......Rogers, Rivers, Stafford (and in that game Calvin Johnson was basically a decoy on offense), Peyton, and Cutler have thrown for 13 TDs and 1 INT. Millner (who is the Jets best corner) is out for the year. Brady should pick this secondary apart. The Jets force no turnovers (I think they have 2 or 3 on the year). Jets are a dead team walking. They have no one to stretch the field offensively. Can also see a Revis pick 6 for a TD vs. his former team. Other than the weather might be pretty crappy for tomorrow night, I don't see how you can back the Jets here.

and what exactly did the raiders have vs every team before playing the high powered Chargers? So what exactly is the difference in these 2 matchups? IMO, nothing! What's their relation? Division rivals...
