I thought they had to kick xp in NFL? I had over 24. XP would make 25!! Wth??

The announcers said on TV that the Giants were going to try the XP. I turned the channel but did they fumble the snap or something?

Back in late 90's when Pete Carroll coached the Patriots. They beat the Bills on an un-timed down after a completely bogus pass interference call on a hail mary. The Bills were so pissed that they didn't bother taking the field for the XP. The Patriots handed it to Vinatieri and he ran it in for two points. XP would've been a push. Two points gave the cover to NE.
