Giants +1
Well it is clear that the NFL wants to see the Giants play the Vikings on Sunday rather than see the Steelers demolish the Ravens.
Bigger ratings with two teams going for playoff spots and huge TV market.

NFL could have waited till Tuesday but let them know early. It is clear who the NFL and advertisers want in this MNF game.

Yeah, I just googled it & saw if Giants win tonight, then they get the game in week 16......I wonder how much Vegasis behind this, & the NY mob......haha! Watch everyone that read what I read bet the Giants because it makes sense.......the NFL doesn't make sense!

It's all about the ratings and the show. NFL gets more audience. Advertisers get more views. Giants are still in the hunt. Biggest Market in US. Miami improves draft pick positioning.

That game will have playoff implications no matter if the Giants win or not. In fact, if they lose, it becomes a Must Win for the Giants. Either way, Minnesota is trying to clinch a playoff spot. It seems like a pretty normal flex schedule decision. Also, the Giants have a huge tv market. Flex scheduling isn't a conspiracy. The league put it in for this very reason. Yes, the league wants NYG vs Minn on Sunday. That is why flex scheduling exists. I am glad we don't have to see the Ravens. They also wanted NE/Texans last week, but they both lost the week before -- I am lost.

WHy do they have to win? They can flex the game. Even if the G-men lose tonight, they will only be 1 game back (with a game vs Philly to come). So the win tonight does nothing to make that game especially compelling. It will be important no matter what.

Chonce if they do not win they do not get the game. I ants put themselves in a big whole. Nobody wants to watch Baltimore get thrashed.
I have never heard of the NFL publicly stating if u win you get the game until now. They have 12 days to give teams notice which means Tuesday is the day. They gave them the info tonight.

Just a nice story line.

Good call dude......I freaking liked the Giants early in the week, even put them in a posted parlay Saturday night & switched my mind looking at the damn public numbers........weeks 14-17 have playoff implications & are not supposed to be capped the same as the previous weeks......again good call!

My apologies. I thought this was some kind of argument the game would be fixed. I didn't realize the NFL put a clause on the flex scheduling where they have to win (though the G-men still would've been 1 game out with 3 to go...)
