Well first of all, im 56 years old and was a chef for many years playing horses and going to the tracks since 1973 as a small time better and just picking other peoples selections and learning more and more about handicapping techniques In 2000 i had a stroke where i coulnt walk or do alot of things i loved to do but i got better little by little and since then, im still limited with my hands and leg and then i was diagnoised with a lump in my throat 3 years ago and started writing a cookbook with all my notes i had done over many years and also invented my own handicapping sytem which has 25 steps to it that i use everyday and works very well for me but there are times it misses. its very hard for me to figure how to put my system on paper or i would have someone market it but i can show people in person what i do step by step. it takes me about 20 minutes to half hour to do 1 race and then when i get done, i usualy lookat all the results and play my best 3 or 4 race that day
well i started posting over at a small chat room called sportsunit .com where my friend is a super moderator there and we chat between races and they have poker games at sites through there and then he told me about the SR forum so i went there to post over there and then Harley King suggested that i go to the RX and here i am
Over at the sportsunit my friend has a thread under horseracing about sticky past performances where we can download charts for different races daily for free
i do that everyday and the races i cant get i get from the daily racing form and then i handicap about 4-5 hrs a day
Also, im not a high roller but a v ery conservative better I'll only have a $200 bankroll on hand and spread my bets out. If i hit something early, and get my investment back , i use their money and increase my bets
I have hit hit many pick 3's and pick 4's and i've hit a pick 6 before
But mainly, i love the track and i really get that thrill when i seeing them running down the stretch and across he finish line
My favorite track is saratoga and since i live in NY, i go there for a week every year
Last year, one day , i hit 9 for 9 at the track there and hit both pick 4's all the pick 3's and many triples and exactas was a huge day didnt play the pick 6
well i hope i answered all your questions and my fingers are killing me now so ill go for now
If you like, come visit me in the chat room at sportsunit with my friends over there we are there all day and we talk about the next race coming up and theres alot of nice folks over there too
