From FoxNews.com........

Obese people have the right to two seats for the price of one on flights within Canada, the country's Supreme Court ruled yesterday.
The court declined to hear an appeal by Canadian airlines of a decision by the Canadian Transportation Agency that people who are "functionally disabled by obesity" deserve to have two seats for one fare.

The airlines had lost an appeal at the Federal Court of Appeal in May and had sought to launch a fresh appeal at the Supreme Court.
The court's decision not to hear a new appeal means the one-person-one-fare policy stands. The appeal had been launched by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and WestJet.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? So because YOU decide to eat like crap and have a tendency to be overweight but not care enough to be proactive about it and CHOOSE to be a fat ass, you now have a disease? They were arguing this earlier. One previous fat woman says it a disease. So you pay for your luggage, but someone's big ass cheek gets to ride for free. Nice. And what about the other passengers? How uncomfortable for you to sit next to someone so large they need two seats. Where are your rights?
And I also don't consider alcoholism a disease. It's an addiction. If you chose to drink, then too damn bad my friend. People don't choose cancer or heart disease. The CHOICE to be a lazy fat ass or drink to addiction is not a damn disease.
I smoke and am now addicted. Do I have nicotine disease? Can get a free something now? Where's my pity party?

And Japan has a law on your waisteline

""Japan is taking no prisoners as it has implemented a national law requiring companies and local governments to measure the waists of people between the ages of 40 and 74. The government limits for women and men respectively are 35.4 inches and 33.5 inches. The average waistline for Japanese women is 28 inches and 32.8 for men; whereas, in the Unites States the average waistline for women is 36.5 inches and 39 inches for men."

What happens if you go over your "waist limit?" America is a country FULL of enablers. You are no longer responsible for your actions here. There's always an excuse.
I know the story is about Canada, but just wait. Will be happening here soon too I'm sure.

At least I'm consistent Rob

Ya know when I post what is coming and ya know what is coming when
Junior stands at the microphone having questions fired at his ass by
the Media

I still would pay to see Bush take on Palin on Jeopardy with Joe the Plumber
as the 3rd contestant ....

Not sure but Plumber boy might get hot and advance in that matchup

When you have a nation that is 70% fueled by consumption. With consumption you will naturally have over consumption.

they call alcoholism a disease but don't they have a choice to be proactive in stopping the drinking?
