I find it interesting how removed many of my friends and family members are from this game. I imagine that's the way it is in most cities that host the Super Bowl. The only thing people want to do is avoid the area and most people I know are not going anywhere near downtown, nor do they have tickets for the game. Other than the merchants, most people see it as just a major inconvenience.

Downtown SF has been a nightmare for weeks. I hate driving in SF during normal conditions! Funny thing is SF is not even close to Levi's stadium and I am sure those that came here thinking the game is in SF are suprised.

I'm so glad its at Levi's stadium so others can experience how poorly located this stadium is. I had season tickets the 1st year and sold them immediately after last reg season game. Still lost money but not as much as others lost that tried to sell theirs after Harbs was fired. You couldn't pay me to attend this game at this shit hole. I cant wait to here the fans experience and review after the game. Parking is a complete nightmare. Fuck York and al lhis greed. He is a true p.o.s

I grew up going to the stick. It was an old stadium but it had all the memories and was great for football. Once they moved that was it for me. I think the new mentality is to build a stadium that you can hold concerts and events in. The Yorks are greedy indeed and are more worried about the next Taylor Swift concert than the team.

The City. Why do you ask? And you'll always know a non-native if they call it "Frisco" (which is the equivalent of spitting in someone's face here).

The Stick certainly had its moments and I enjoyed tailgating there before SF Giants game, but that place was a dump man, and I don't mean maybe. I can see how the location would be an issue for those that live within The City or to the North, probably works out well though for those down in Silicon Valley. Bay area traffic was a nightmare years ago, I can only imgaine what its like today. The same thing happened in New York a couple years ago, most of the locals could care less and considered the whole event an inconvenience. But that's the reward a city gets for building a new stadium these days, they get on the short list to host a Super Bowl. What's the wind situation like at the new Levi's stadium? The Stick was always known for that breeze coming off the Bay. I always preferred Super Bowls to be held in Southern California, South Florida, or New Orleans.

The stick was in a bad area and was not glam and glitz. I live in the northbay in marin so saying sf 49ers and they are in santa clara would be like the packers playing in sheboygan. Most that I know that got season tickets hated levi's and bailed after the first year. Too hot in the stands when the weather is nice and horrible parking that is one lane in and one lane out. I am in no hurry to go all the way down there even if the niners were good .

Oh and you might want to check out the retro Warriors jerseys when they used to be the San Francisco Warriors

Speaking of traffic, I guess the Broncos' police escorted motorcade was involved in a fender bender on their way to media day. don't think anyone was injured, other than a few scratches on Erik Estrada's CHP motorcycle.

Sounds like a bad omen to me. Looks like I'll be putting even more on the Panthers.
