So now UGA has to depend on a Freshman RB, and a passing attack that loses it's top two WR's this season. On top of all of this, projected starters on the line Sturdivant and Benedict are both out for the season, leaving UGA very thin on the offensive line. UGA also must hope that QB Murray does not suffer thru a "sophmore jinx". the Georgia defensive line and LB,s are going to have to pick up the slack now. The offense has been hit hard so far.

Pretty much why I am not sold on Georgia last year. This is a 6 win team from last year, and they suffered all the losses you just mentioned. Don't think they are on Florida or South Carolina's level this year.

Not now. I really thought that UGA had the 1-2 punch at RB needed to carry them thru. Now, all bets are off.

this guy King was extremely touted as one of the greatest ever coming of high school here in Georgia,

His career has been way,way below expectations and that was before this year

Another overhyped high school guy. He's talking NFL too??? I'm all for people trying to make it big, but he has alot of work to do to make it there. Maybe he can turn a negative (his career at UGA) into a positive and live up to his talent finally.

I'll say this for Caleb's less-than-stellar career -- it's tough to run when your blocking stinks and you have real trouble hanging on to the ball.

All on young Crowell's shoulders now.

Well, RB is one of the most replaceable positions in college football... (I hope.)

Former Georgia RB Washaun Ealey transferred and bailed to Jacksonville State a month ago so he can play in 2011, Richt would love to give him another chance now (maybe), but its too late, I thought Ealey was an explosive, highly talented player (just needed to quit fumbling and make better decisions at times), just never fully came together for him although you got to see flashes of brilliance and talent from Ealey

they still have Carlton Thomas though although King is a better blocker than Ealey and Thomas (I'll give King that much)

What a disaster of an off season for Georgia. They now have lost their top 2 running backs from last year. Washaun Ealey and King combined for 1,200 yards last year. Isaiah Crowell better be the truth.

King sucks azz. Glad to see him go. Ealey fumbled too much. If Crowell lives up to half the hype, we will be better off with those two gone. Thomas is a speedy little guy. If you need a big back, put Samuel in. I always thought he was a good RB. Not that big of a blow. Our D is going to make or break the season. It is not that rare for a frosh RB to come in and be a stud...ie: Lattimore of SC 2010. Murray will end up being the best QB in the sec this year. Got good young talent at the wr position and a stud TE. Losing these two chumps is not that big of a deal...

The Dawgs will be a very inexperienced pack, to be sure. As far as who will step up, no doubt all eyes wil be on Crowley, but I think that redshirt freshman Boo Malcome at 6' 226lbs might end up being that go-to guy to grind out 4-5 up the middle and keep defenses honest.

And he changed his name officially to Boo. I mean, what more can you say? Check out the vid from his senior year in HS. (You might want to turn down the volume if you're not a rap music fan.)

Word is that he looked the best of all the backs after Spring practice, but is a little too injury-prone.

Baccari Rambo used to be named Baccari Fudge so he changed his last name in middle school to make his name sound more intimidating, sounds like a safety now

Your top 2 running backs are out, breaking in a new back in 1st game. How much depth do you have left ? How does that not help Boise ?

All of their playmakers are gone. Top 2 WRs, top 2 RBs. Their offensive line is hurting right now. Murray doesn't have any proven weapons on offense outside of TE Orson Charles. This is not a warmup game as Boise is not a cupcake.

Georgia is relying on a lot of freshmen and JUCO players this year. Doesn't bode well for them.

Hence the 6 point cushion in the initial GOY offerings. But even with all this, I don't think we'll ever see 7. No rational bettor would take the Broncos favored by a TD over the Dawgs in their own backyard... or would they??

A lot of question marks for the boys from the south and not enough periods.
