Just because gambling on sports has turned you into a cynic and ruined the former passion of yours of simply being a "fan", doesn't mean it's done the same for everyone else. I agree with a small part of the underlying part of your argument that grown men shouldn't ever feel a sense of "superiority" over another if "their" team beats the other guy's, but there's still a general feeling of passion that grown men can still have, unless of course like I said, that's been destroyed by gambling which dulls the senses, brings the worst out in people, and narrows the focus.

I think GA's biggest problem is Stafford is overrated, when has he ever taken his team on his shoulders and won the game? He has the skills no doubt but I hope he comes back for his senior season, he isn't ready for the NFL. UGA should win out and I do like them this week against KY too.

I agree with your comments on Stafford, but the game was actually closer than the score would indicate.

Two major things changed the game. 1st the hands to the face penalty and 2nd the decision to onsides kick it. Even if UGA recovered it, it was bad decision.

The hands to the face penalty was the play where it was picked off by Miller and the onsides kick led to a 40 yard field for UF. Terrible decision.

UGA killed themselves. Kentucky would have beaten us with the way we played. Our WRs were wide open all game.
