Just last week Peter Forsberg made a comeback into the NHL hoping to rejuvenate the Colorado Avalanche. Forsberg signed a contract for the remainder of the season. Played 2 games, went scoreless, with a minus 4 rating. Registered 3 shots on goal and played more then 17:30 in each games.
It was his first time back playing in the NHL since the 2008 playoffs.
Forsberg will announce his retirement this afternoon in Denver. Was this just a ploy to finally retire from the NHL? And why not do it with the team he won the Stanley Cup with and spent most of his career. More details to come after the announcement this afternoon.
