It's time to leave all of that behind. I am probably the #1 Bush hater on the forum but it is now time to live and hope for the future.

Truman was an all time low when he left office too. History judges him a lot less harsh.

Given sufficient hindsight, I'm pretty sure that no one really views Truman with much significance, pro or con - save for his making the call on nuking the Japs. (pro, imho)
