I just tried to deposit to get the 50% bonus through the RX and got the biggest run around I can remember in some time. I didn't see a code here to enter for the bonus so I decided to enter a code I had seen to get a copy of Doyle's book and then call them just to make sure I could do that. I sure didn't think it was a big deal, in fact I figured that was what they wanted us to do since I didn't see a code to enter on the RX here. Apparently not only could I not get the book now but I think the bonus is over as well. My option was take 35% bonus or withdraw my money he said? LOL.

When I said are you sure because they are advertising this on the forum he said he was positive, he even went to check with someone. According to Eugene there is no 50% bonus any longer I guess. All he could do is take out the book code and put me in for the 35% stuff if I wanted that but otherwise I could leave the site. LOL. I decided to withdraw and even that was a problem, he said call the Accounting department from 11-7EST tomorrow and check with them on getting my money back. Wow, I won't be taking that place up on an offers again. Just so anyone else knows do not put anything where they ask for the code, I said RX referred me but instead of leaving it blank I put in a code for a book, maybe that was the problem....?

LOL. That would at least make sense but they had no idea who I am.......:103631605

Just kind of weird I guess, never seen that kind of stuff before when someone is trying to send them business. I can only guess that either the promotion is really over with the RX or he thought I was pulling a fast one by entering a code I saw in Card Player for the free book. If I was I wouldn't have called and asked them if that was okay. Teach me I guess, now I got neither the bonus or the book, LOL. Oh well back to Party Poker and the other old standbys I guess....

Fish, wish I had known they did it automatically, I probably didn't have to do anything then? Either way I already just asked for them to send it back to me, no big deal. The guy wasn't a jerk or anything, he just seemed damned sure there was no 50% bonus in it for me. Me putting in a code for the book may not helped matters either.

BTW I have emailed you several times as I don't have your number any more, I know there was a lot of 3, 4 and 7's in it but not the exact order. LOL. Give me a call or drop me a line....

Does not surprise me at all! Dont get me wrong I think the software is good and the people(players) are loose/ idiots...BUT the Customer Service Sucks...PERIOD! ..Believe it or not , but I have sent 4 emails, atleast 4 chats with the host and 2 phone calls and have not had my problem solved. I was playing Saturday night August 6th, and the site went down like 5 times in an hour span....Well I was playing at a cash table nothing big 1/2...and was in the middle of a hand with money in the pot, and everyone gets disconnected(was even a thread here concerning disconnects)....No biggie, its happened at other places....

Thing that gets me is that I was never returned my money that was in the pot or anything. Was just getting rude answers from the Customer Service Dept, Saying that there where alot of table histories they had to look at to refund and i would get my money back, I had offered to send them a screen shot i took when everything froze up, but they said it was not needed...Needless to Say I have yet got my money back and never even got a reply to my emails....And that was over a month ago. I Decided not to play there any more based on that expierence alone. :nono5:

Owell..

I am starting to agree with you guys, I heard nothing back from today either. They wouldn't return it last night though I just put it in, said to call today and talk to Accounting from 11-7, they were the only one's who could approve it. I did that and they said it would be done today. It wasn't. I know they are gone for the day, nothing in the account.

I hope this isn't another one of those month long deals like Dshot is going through. Hate to knock an advertiser but so far the customer service there stinks. I guess I will try again tomorrow. Hope they aren't like some of the shit books who decide to "punish" you for not playing there and make you wait just for the hell of it. Sigh.

This story is odd. I signed up before the 250 bonus started. I contacted them and asked if they could give me the 250 bonus eventhough i had signed up before the promotion was offered. They couldnt help, but with some prodding, they gave me the email of a guy in charge of promotions. After 1 email he had given me the 250 bonus without a problem.

Pat, have you tried asking some of the lower CS people if they can give you a contact in promotions? I think these lower level people are paid to deflect this stuff, but if you ask for a supervisor you usually get results pretty quick.

I havent really played there much since i cleared the bonus as i am working on some good bonuses and rakeback on other sites. But didnt have a problem with the site while i was there.

No actually I didn't do that Prime. I did ask the guy several times if he was sure though, he even put me on hold once to I assume check with someone else. Each time he said I was not eligible for the 50% bonus, just the 35% bonus. Also when I spoke with Accounting today to get the funds back I sort of mentioned it to see what they would say but didn't press the issue. They seemed kind of busy and said it would be in there today so I just decided to live with it and play at some of the other poker sites for now. No big deal, once I find out I am creating a problem I just move on to the next shop. As I get older the path of least resistance appeals to me more and more, LOL.

You are right though, you should always ask to speak to a supervisor and I should have done that, hell I should know that by now. At this point though I guess I am content with just playing elsewhere. Might give them a shot later once this issue gets settled if others are not having problems there. Thanks for the input.

Somebody should talk to those idiots that when they advertise on a gambling forum, its sheer stupidity to jerk around the very people that will report back on a public forum the shitty service they are receiving.
