5dimes has Gatti at -1000. Hardecorecap huh? I dont think a hard core capper would throw everything he has against a guy he has never seen fight before. But thats just me. Also, rumor has it that Gatti has been hitting the party seen again and is emotionally distraught after breaking up with his fiancee. But that might not effect him at all.

Well I wouldnt take those kinds of odds, i was just curious if it will be closer. Branco is nothing, trust me. But im sure he will be a game fighter, and we will all be entertained.

as far as the rumors about Gatti partying it up again, i just read an interview on him and he is ready to go, planning on maybe a big match up with either Mayweather or Judah later in the year. I know the odds suck, but i just love to watch Gatti fight and want to see him knock this sucker out. Hope everyone had Ishe. good luck all

Quotes from fightnews interview with Branco or whatever his name is.

Do you worry at all about Arturo’s power?
(Deadpan) He never killed anybody! I don’t worry about him being a legend here. We’ll see Saturday what happens in the ring.

Seeming almost tired of hearing about Gatti and his folklore status as a future all-time great, Branco explained that he will punch, punch and punch some more with the “Human hilight film”, as Gatti has been promoted, having no fear of going toe-to-toe with his Canadian/Italian rival.

Gianluca, have you ever been down on the canvas?
No, never!

Gatti did lose to Robinson. Twice!

who the heck is saying that gatti`s an alltime great?......that`s laughable.....

i guess that ward and emmanuel augustus should also have "folklore status...

being defeseless, a bleeder and having alot of heart don`t necessarily make you a hall of famer....

might as well throw charles brewer in there,too...he`s been in some fantastic fights...

gatti always falls short vs the top guys...

If you were going to take "not Gatti within distance", why not just take the prop for the fight to go the distance. Branco has no power, he won't stop Gatti. If gatti don't stop Branco then more than likely if just goes to the scorecards. I will pass on this fight because I have never seen Branco.

It is within the realm of possibility that Gatti could suffer a cut or injury causing the bout to come to a halt. Besides, with this strategy, I can actually root for a fighter. Branco in this case.

What we must all remember is that Gatti has been in many wars throughout his career. Eventually, he will not have anything left to offer. This could be that fight. If he doesn't bring anything to the table, the chances of him getting the ko should be slimmer.

Gatti by KO - only reason why Bronco took this fight is: $$$ Think about it... if you're only in it for the money... why not get your friend to place 10,000 on you losing in the first round.

Yes, I would have. But I still like my choice better because I feel it was the safer selection.

Gatti injured his hand yet again. I think it is about time that he hung his gloves up. He will be braindead by the time he retires if he keeps it up. Dorin will have him looking no different than last night. McGirt should talk some sense into him. Gatti has been in too many wars.

I dont know what youre talking about. He's breaking his right hand every fight but besides that he's on the top of his game. Youre not suggesting Dorin would beat him are you?

I must say that a Dorin fight would be a toss up. Gatti is a great offensive fighter, but has no defense, and it would just be a war. I would give Gatti a slight edge, as he is a bigger man. Personally the best fight that could be made for hardcore fans right now would be Gatti-Mayorga. I would pay to be there ringside. Branco was a game fighter, but if it wasnt for the right hand things might have ended early.

Are you kidding? Gatti wouldn't last four rounds with Mayorga. The BEST fight for GAtti right now (money) would be GATTI VS. RICKY HATTON. Now that's a fight I want to see.

Exactly what I said. Dorin would have his face all swollen after landing so many shots to Gatti's face. McGirt should talk him into retiring because he is a broken fighter with little left other than his heart.

You are absolutely 100% clueless and should not try to handicapp boxing anymore. I'm sorry, maybe that sounded a little mean. But you guys seriously have no clue if you think Leonard Dorin would beat Gatti. I would bet half of my bankroll on it with an even line. Dorin would not have a chance. And you guys really dont know boxing if you think he would.

You seem to be clueless when it comes to reading english. I did not once say that Dorin would beat Gatti. I don't even have an opinion on the fight. All I am saying is that Gatti needs to consider his health now over further paydays for fighting in the ring. So f#%k off.

Does everything need to be spelled out for you?

People can say what they want about Dorrin but if he cn take Gatti's punch, he wins. I can't believe how overrated Gatti has become. Dorrin has MUCH quicker hands and he throws straight punches. Gatti has good handspeed but not as good as Dorrins and he throws wide punches. Also, Gatti's left eyes was swelling VERY early and he wan't even getting hit that much. Having said all of that Gatti would have a chance to overpower Dorrin because he hits harder and is probably stronger. It's not a sure thing either way IMO.
