After what happened in that Utah game last night, Patterson is probably ready to leave out of frustration...lol.. I think KSU is a very good fit for him. And it's going to make this conference even stronger. I kept hearing rumors that Leach was finally going to get a bigtime coaching job somewhere and Patterson would go to Texas Tech. But I think KSU is just as good a job for him.

I can't believe Patterson would go to KSU. He will be able to get a better gig. If you look at the history of KSU football only one coach, Bill Snyder, has won there. Not good odds for the next coach coming in.

Not true yet, at least. It'll be interesting to see if it turns out to be the case. If it does, there's a big leak somewhere in the KSU athletic department.

If that happened it would be Hawaii 2007 all over again. TTU would lose their coach, senior QB, Crabtree (Almost certainly will enter the draft), etc.

If K-State really got Patterson then that would be huge.
He usually has a Snyder-type solid defense with experience recruiting in Texas. That would be great if its true.

According to his call into a Dallas radio station today:

He is not leaving TCU, he was upset enough by this rumor, and how it was handled, to make it "less likely" that he would EVER consider an offer at this point from KSU. (so much for team loyalty, lol)

This was a joke from the beginning and you can thank GopowercatDOTcom if you root for KSU, they really screwed up big time, quoting "two reliable sources within the AD" .....such bullshit.
