As a colt fan, i would not lay 12. The team only tends to play when they need to. until they get over that, they are not a good bet laying the points.

I agree with you General. I don't know the long term numbers on it off hand but I do not lay double digit spreads in the NFL. I just don't like to do it period.

Spread seems to have universally moved to 13. No movement to speak of on the total.

I think that Indy should be favored by 9-10. The over might be a better play (42.5). The secondary for the Texans is depleated and has numerouse injuries.I look for Davis to run better on a fast artifical surface and the Houston Offense to put up at least 17 -20 points. Indy will have a good day passing and should score 27-30 points. Just my 2 cents. GL to all.

Some stats:

Peyton Manning is 1-5 ATS following a bye week (includes 1999 playoff game)

The Texans with David Carr are 4-1 ATS as double digit dogs week after a SU loss.

Maybe this ... ??

"After sitting out the past two games and all but eight plays of another, [Texans CB, Aaron] Glenn practiced on a limited basis Wednesday. He didn't suffer any setbacks and had a good workout, highlighted by an interception in team drills.

Capers said he would wait until the end of the week to decide if Glenn will start Sunday's division game against the Indianapolis Colts, but barring a reaggravation of the injury, all indications are the two-time Pro Bowl cornerback will return to the starting lineup."

It sure beats having Wright chasing Harrison around.

Here in the Houston Papers they are expecting Glenn to start; but OLB Charlie Clemmons is expected to miss this weeks game:

If anyone has lived in Houston they know John McClain who is the beat writer for the NFL here. Here is a link to his picks:

The Texans with Banks as the starter should be bad for us next week.
