I live in Dallas and follow the Cowboy's closely. I'm a big fan. This team just won their biggest regular season game in the last decade. City is celebrating like we already won something. The owner is making ridiculous comments. Player is getting arrested. Listening to the players talk now just sounds different than 3-4 weeks ago. I think it is completely absurd for the Cowboys to be a full touchdown favorite over the Giants in a division rival NFC east game. Until last year Eli has dominated us playing in our stadium. Division game with the cowboys drinking the kool-aid and the Giants coming off an embarrassing prime time loss where they lost their best receiver just scares me. Beckham rookie receiver breakout game coming. The Giants will be hungry. Let down spot for Dallas and a statement game for the G-men. There will be a huge public overreaction to last week. Give me the Giants even though it kills me!

Tend to agree. After watching the Cowboys knock off the Seahawks in Seattle and the Giants get absolutely embarrassed and shutout on national TV during prime time, I just got that feeling that the Giants go into Dallas and win next week.

Like I said i'm a huge cowboys fan just don't understand the line. I watch these games every year even when one of the teams is struggling and its always a battle.I expect a close game. Especially how last week went and public perception. I hope Dallas wins 27-24!! But i'm taking the points.

I'd be careful backing the Giants here. I'm a Giants fan but just don't think this team is that good. No Cruz, No Jennings, probably no Rogers-Cromartie (would be a big blow) because another corner was placed on IR yesterday. The Eagles man handled the Giants offensive line and the Cowboys defensive line is very good. I think it's asking a lot for the Giants to win on the road with a rookie RB, rookie receiver playing his 3rd NFL game, a bunch of 4th string receivers, and a banged up secondary. Also, Witten kills the Giants. Go luck at his career numbers vs. them. They are ridiculous.

If the Giants are thinking playoffs, this is a virtual must win with Indy, at Seattle, San Fran, and the Cowboys on the schedule in November.

Agree with your points but for me this is more about my team, notoriously in this kind of spot, shitting the bed so to speak in the last 15 years. It Has little to do with the Giants, however with these two teams being familiar with one another and the beating the Giants took I expect them to be focused and their best effort. They love playing in this stadium as well. But Just when you think it has turned around and you can count on my team Dallas they let you down. Media loves to make this team start believing their own hype since the circus owner Jerry Jones bought the team. Jimmie didn't allow it but has been an absolute mess since then. I hope and pray I am wrong but have just been let down too many times. So I feel pretty confident taking the points and hoping Dallas wins in a close game for my own selfish reasons.

I don't think giants win here, but I have a good feeling they cover. Cowboys as a fav=fade. As a dog=$$$$ and that's how you play it IMO.

Can you confirm what it is you are referring to when you say "notoriously in this kind of spot, shitting the bed so to speak in the last 15 years."

In last 15 years, Dallas is 6-5 overall, 5-5-1 ats as home favs vs NY Giants. Not exactly shitting the bed.

Dallas is 3-0 SU/ATS. It's almost like the books wanted people to take NY in those games?

I'm not just referring to spots when just playing the Giants dude I'm talking about this teams performance over the course of the last 15 seasons just when they look like they have turned a corner they revert back to their heart breaking ways. I watch every Cowboys game trust me its my pain for a while now. Like i said I hope i'm wrong but just think its going to be a SUPER close division battle. Thanks for also showing in the last four years posted in your Chart every game has been close between these two teams with a lot of the same personel and head coaches. Im taking the points in a let down spot and public overreaction. Seeing some 6.5s now. Good Luck. I win either way in this situation. Go Cowboys!

As a longtime Cowboys fan, I agree with JP-8 in that this really feels like a spot where they don't show up. They are believing their own bullshit right now. Hard to bet on Giants but Cowboys are due for a letdown.

Been a Cowboys fan for 20+ years. My grandparents have lived in NYC as long as I've been around. I pay extra attention to both of these teams and pull for the Giants whenever the Cowboys are out of the picture. Plus I went to Olemiss when Eli was there. I think the Cowboys take them to pound town. Just my opinion.
