BZ- I was just about to start my own thread. Ouch! I have Fla and am on the wrong side today. Not sure who the exact crew is, if there is some history there, but, yeah, this one is in the bag for FSU. I have seen some bad calls over the course of an entire game but these guys have take right over, from the start, no mystery here. Could be a long day. Look for alot of holding calls, personal fouls, and stuff like that, stuff where you can just impose your will on the game. Like I said, not sure if this crew has some history, or, just don't like this year's gator but they are not even bothering to cover it up, gotta at least respect that.
Sorry, one more thing, just the little nuances that drive me crazy. That last play by Leak where he slid and somone from FSU tried to take his head off, you are not going to tell me thats not 15 yards if that is Rix. Then they miss the fg. I just hope FSU blows em out, it won't be aggravating that way. I had Tenn -12 today, so, lady luck hasn't been all bad to me.
Ok, its been awhile since they blew one. Faisson (spelling) was down, but, I honestly think he was only down for 4 or 5 seconds, so, I can see how they missed that one. Even the announcers are ripping into them, which in and of itself is a testament to how bad they are. Wow, this is surreal.
Nate- I said it before, but, I just have to say it again, this is over the top. I mean, you blow a holding call there and pass int here, but, this is just too blatant. I think the problem with refs in this situation is they have to make one of two arguements, both are bad. One is, we fixed the game. Ok, no, you know they aren't going to say that. So, legitamately, to argue that point, as a ref in this game, you would have to say you are inept and incapable of making obvious calls. Either way, you are not making a good case for your job.

nationally televised game like fla/fsu.

and should be fired ( along with the entire
staff of refs from the big 10, who are really
