Tiny's long-awaited shot to "kill terrorists better than Obama did" unfolds an astonishing flood of delusion, outright lies and strange peripheral claims that are a combination of both.

Impossible to Power Rank the insane moments of this morning, so in no particular order:

1) "I wrote a book..." LOLZ

2) "......about a year before 9/11 that I warned everyone about this guy no one had ever heard of, Osama Bin Laden..."

3) "....and I said you better take of this guy or it will be bad...You guys should check out that book...."

Which of course many did (and have in the past) to find that no such warning was even remotely included in this ghost-written book from 2000.

4) He gave a dramatic play by play of how he and top military in DC watched the raid live as it happened.....But the raid occurred at 330pm EDT at which time Tiny was on the golf course (until 4:18pm). The photo provided by WH of this ficticious gathering in the Situation Room was data-timestamped at 5:07pm and thus obviously a complete stage job....somewhat akin to his appearances on The Apprentice TVshow where he portrayed himself as a "billionaire business tycoon" in spite of his true history of six bankruptcies totalling in the billions of dollars

Oct 28 - Tiny goes to Chicago and shits all over their PD and city at large while rambling w more imaginary stories w non-existent people. Rolled out his now approx four year old fable about "NYPD 401K guy" who in past tellings has "seen his 401k increase by 40%, 45%, 50% per year since Jan 2017. Today it was "72% increase"

Several strong reporters provide detailed coverage of Trump public speaking moments. Daniel Dale by far the best WRT fact checking Tiny and with incredible detail cataloguing every outright lie and false statement since early 2016. Current total is approaching 14 Thousand lies since Jan 2017. The bulk are just him repeating previous lies and/or embellishing them from previous versions. But the pathological refusal to be honest for even five minutes (it is rare for him to average under one lie per three minutes) remains fascinating

Aaron Rupar also does a great job and his twitter reports feature the actual video/audio clips wherein Tiny lies and rambles, thus a far more interesting way to directly observe the mental deterioration

So Tiny's master plan to respond to the biggest legal threat of his Presidency is to designate Jared Kushner as his point man for defense?

It's reasonable to conclude that there is not a single credible defense attorney/law firm in the entire United States of America willing to represent Trump at this stage of the game. Any competent&ethical lawyer knows a couple hard truths re Trump

1) He is mentall deteriorating at a visible and astonishing pace
2) If he had a real attorney in play he would demand they break the law in one or more ways to advance his defense
3) He is notorious for not paying his bills so any significant billing would be ignored

Now it would also be reasonable to presume that when the *multiple* articles of impeachment are officially filed that a true attorney would step up to serve as proxy for "The White House legal team" (most recently a role of Don McGahn who wisely bailed almost a year ago given the amount of illegal lawyering he was asked to do by Tiny).

But it's highly unlikely there will even be a trial in the Senate because Trump is frankly incapable of appearing as a defendant in *any* proceeding, much less an event that broadcasts him in such a role on international television.

The deterioration is now increasingly visible in less than one week intervals.

Hard to distinguish between brain decay and the general panic related to watching his Presidency crumble in real time for all to see.

Highlights from past couple days include

1) After ranting for over a month about imaginary "secret, closed door depositions (which were open to over 50 GOP Congresspersons)" Tiny now objecting to commencement next week of public open hearings

2) "I captured the swamp!! I captured all of them!! Never been done before! We're leading in all the polls!" was an astonishing real life spew on the South Lawn

3) Has now been seen in public a total of 13.5 hours in past 15 days, with less than ten hours of that standing.

4) Raises the idea of "suing Schiff for treason"

5) Confesses within his settlement with NY AG that he committed felony campaign finance fraud when illegally diverting millions of dollars donated to his supposed Trump Foundation charity into his 2016 campaign. Then issues a White House statement claiming that he did no such thing


The arena for his Louisiana pep rally on Wednesday night began emptying out 20 minutes before he completed his ranting. Likely in large part to his remarks being 90% the same list of lies and pained grievances he's been peddling at rallies going back to early 2018.

It's clear that attendance at such events is now about half true believers and the other half are just coming in to see the modern day version of a circus freak show oddity. Years later they will be able to tell their friends and family, "Yep, I was there and saw him collapsing mentally....it was quite the show! And I even got paid $50 just to attend!"

As this power thread has already touched on Tiny's incredibly degrading physical health in tandem with the title topic there is no need to create my fifth recurring thread to posit questions like "Will Trump Even Be Alive In November 2020?"

He was seen briefly in public on Friday; rushed to the ER on Saturday and since his return to WH is now going on about 48 hrs holed up in his private quarters where he met briefly today with Pompeo and the FedReserve chairman.

Not overly unusual. Since early summer he averages a bit under 100 minutes daily in public view and that includes the numerous campaign rallies where he is seen for between 85-95 minutes

Those of us who have personally seen a family member or other loved one degrading into senior physical disability and onset dementia sadly know the "pace" only gets lower. Could well see a month of December where he only manages 30-40 hrs in public view with nearly all of that seated, not standing

Emerging from his private quarters Tuesday after approx 62 hours hidden from public view, Tiny makes it through 19 minutes of a "cabinet meeting" before staffers shut it down and scream at press to exit.

Today he staggered out to the South Lawn with hilariously sharpie-written huge script notes to himself and yells his innocence over the deafening rotors of Marine One for about seven minutes.

He then manages a 14 minute walk through a manufacturing facility (sub for Apple) in Texas before doing just over 20 minutes in Texas on stage with Tim Cook of Apple - again yelling his innocence and screaming about the evil media.

In summary, since his frantic trip to the Walter Reed ER last Saturday, the POTUS has been seen in public for 62 minutes over approx 96 hours
