Wondering who is good to follow for horse racing! I know a little about it but with the Oaks and Derby right around the corner, living in KY, it's always a big day for us! Just wondering who I should keep an eye out for to follow and tail! Thanks in advance!
In my opinion the Derby winner is either Exaggerator or My Man Sam. Sam came from post 14 in the Blue Grass Stakes and was closing well..I will be keying both on top

exaggerators breakout race was in the slop..i wouldn't expect a repeat performance unless the track is a mess. My man Sam can spice up the exotics but I dont feel he's a win candidate. Its tough to cone from way back in the derby because of the traffic issues. Personally I play deep tri's and key horses who I think can hit the board but don't necessarily need to win. I've been on Whitmore and sudden breaking news all spring and will continue to ride them keyed in multiple tri spots come derby day. Its the derby so you can afford to really press cause the pools and payouts are so substantial.
Pace is going to play a key role in the race as it always does. On paper we've got alot more slow plodding types and closers then speedballs. This typically means the horses in the first or second tier stand more of a chance with a possible slower and less contested pace.
