Buffalo -106
Leafs dressing a pretty weak lineup, in particular no Kessel or JVR, and none of their puck-movers on D - Gardiner, Rielly, Franson. Buffalo is still Buffalo, but they are icing a stronger lineup than the Leafs, and at this price I like the value.

Colorado -0.5 +114
Montreal squeaked out an OT win last night at home, and now head to Quebec City for this tilt vs the old Nordiques. By my count Montreal is playing a bunch of prospects, with only Desharnais and Prust playing up front from the Habs' expected opening night roster. Colorado have their entire projected top 6 forwards and top 6 defense playing tonight, although they released a larger than normal roster for tonight (https://twitter.com/RadioMoser/status/515614759358853120/photo/1), a lot of whom played last night, so take that with the appropriate grain of salt. Nonetheless, I'm making a bigger than usual bet on this game, fading the Habs lineup if nothing else.

I might make a small bet on the Caps tonight based on their lineup, but still can't find who the Bruins are dressing.

More to come...

Alex Tanguay, Jarome Iginla and Daniel Briere were healthy scratches for the first game of the series, but Roy said all three forwards would play on Friday.
Colorado brought 28 players on the Quebec trip, and Roy said before the club departed Denver that the plan was to have all of the skaters play in at least one of the contests. The Avs coach said he was going to use 10 defensemen over the two games, so expect blueliners Stefan Elliott, Jan Hejda, Erik Johnson and Brad Stuart—all of whom were healthy scratches on Thursday—to be in the lineup on Friday.

Well I guess that's preseason for you. Colorado loses to the Hamilton Bulldogs, and the Leafs get outshot 38-22 and win 6-4. Or maybe that's the way the regular season will go too haha.
