I love Louisville Friday night. They have an explosive offense and an underrated defense going up against a hyperspeed offense that extends the game and exaggerates the gap between team talent.

It's not a Bama game, so I'm always wrong...can someone please explain why I shouldn't drop a large bet on Louisville...?

I couldn't tell u why not to bet them, but a few of the reasons I did play the ville early in the week is because, they have a way better qb & coach. Not to mention that two timing hog riding s.o.b. is never scared to run up the score on anyone & everyone if possible. An it is for sure possible in my humble opinion, but what do I know?

Handicapping 101:

A) No team is as good or as bad as YOU think they are.
B) A veteran bettor would make his wager and not disclose the size of the bet.
C) You're in your twenties.

Probably going to hit it big then moneymiller, I really like it...not Bama/USC/Michigan state...but, close.

and handicapping 203:

A) Actually I have called exact scores prior to multiple big games sir, so the teams were exactly as good/bad as I thought they were.
B) I have been betting football for 16 years and I disclose my wagers regularly. From a $20 bet in college, to 35,200.00 last week on Bama.
C) And you are wrong yet again sonny...I am in my thirties.

It's 28.5-29 now...we don't normally run the score up on non-conference opponents, and WKU has more skill and depth than more than half the country...so I'd definitely take the points with a medium size bet. It will be one of my bets this weekend, but my line will be better living in south Alabama.

Swalker, with 36 years under my belt betting football, I have learned one thing. Don't bet college during the week, so many more opportunities on Saturday. Vegas knows the action junkies are out in force when there's only a few games on the schedule. They also know most of them will play the favorite no matter the number, so expect it to be inflated. Under the radar games will give you better numbers. Example,my power numbers show New Mexico for Saturday. Invest last week's winnings wisely. Not trying to preach, just help.

Here is a reason: Louisville has the game of the century (for them) next week at home against # 3 Florida State.
They might not be pumped up, look ahead, coach might be conservative (no risky plays), be careful with dinged players and not play them unless it is necessary, play good enough to win, if ahead late run out the clock, all of that could result in a "no cover" for the huge road favorite number.

I follow Eric Dungey (qb Syracuse) because he played high school ball over here in oregon. He is an exciting player to watch and threw for 355 and 2tds last week. Last year he was dinged up I think vs Lou in the first half. He does take many risks and exposes himself to alot when scrambling. Accurate passer and dynamic, but not the most durable qb. Dungey is learning the new offense still this year under a new coach. Last week vs Colgate he made this "interesting" (see vid) td that against almost any other d1 program he would have been knocked unconscious. I think #47 for colgate must be the most worthless defender I have ever seen televised. Colgate's D would literally be beaten to a pulp by the top25 high school offenses in the country. This being said, I think dungey's performance vs colgate was a bit inflated due to the sub-par opponent. Louisville looking forward to FSU the following week is the ONLY reason I am slightly worried about my LOU bet. But I dont think it will matter. LOU gets to dungey enough to cover... I am on LOU -14.5
