Northcoast released 3* Baltimore late phone at 6 p.m. EST. The past few years their preseason releases have caused significant line movement. Tomorrow they release at 12:05 p.m. EST. Look for additional line movement shortly thereafter. This is not a statement of support for their service, just providing information.

BTW, nice play on Carolina in the first quarter last night Wil.

I had a lean on Baltimore tonight, but agree with Dime, that at +3, the play was fair, at +1.5, a definite no no.

oldmanTed.............oh hell go ahead and play balt +1' for 3 units...that way you can disregard money management and take a bad number all with just one game..... a clean sweep.......hurray

Gotta believe OMT knows anything less than 3 is a no play tonight with Baltimore. Once any NFL line goes on to or off of 3 - taking anything worse than the best number (ever) for that particular game is not advisable. Example if Jags had moved to 3.5 vs Tampa - who in their right might would settle for plus 3? Same if the same game had dropped to 2.5 - who would then be happy laying 3 on the favorite when 2.5 had been available? The 3 is the MOST crucial number in NFL betting.

Since I got Eagles -3.5 really cheap at Tradesports, after the steam, I wimped and hedged the second.

How about Falcons Rookie QB Matt Schaub. He completes 16 of 19 for 205 yards and 3 TDs (no INTs). I know it was against some back-ups but not bad for a rook who looks like a lock to make the team as a 3rd round pick..
