Friday night at the bash

Since the poker game is on Saturday this year, Friday night is open. Anyone have any bigs plans?

I know that there is a boxing card at the Gold Coast, but don't know if it's worth seeing. Is anyone familiar with the cards that "Guilty Boxing" puts together?

That is why I started thread on nightclubs as guys I am going with want to go drinking and clubbing at a disco/nightbar and bring up the sun. Who are you going out with?

Not sure yet Kojak. A couple people have expressed interest in going to the fights, but I'd really like to get some info on the fight card before committing.

only looking for me, no touching, my woman will be with us, for the single guys this will help as y'all can enlist her to help break the ice between us & other women....

actually I have seen on TV where some girls set up a business where they go out with guys & help set them up with other girls... IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM....

At night in the desert drops about 25 degrees so should be in the eighties. If we take a cab over, never should be in heat but I will be wearing slacks with a collarless shortsleeve shirt. I have seen most clubs are no tshirts,jeans,tennis shoes,muscle shirts,hats,etc. I do know when we get there on Thurs 18th, we are heading out that night to place called the Beach which is a low key bar on UNLV campus. Cheap drinks,open till 4am, and lots of window shopping.

At 11pm it will be between 90-100. Most clubs are the dress code mentioned earlier with no shorts or tshirts and no athletic shoes. A few are "dress to impress". Beach is not on UNLV campus but one of the most casual places you can wear just about anything there I believe. Too many clubs to give just one. Palms is usually the hotspot though but packed always. Just head over there and have dinner at Gardunos or Nine depending on what you want to spend and then hang out at the bars. If the lines aren't ridiculous and/or you can't resist the ladies in line then head in. Be prepared to spend a lot though 20-30 to get in and 8 for weak drinks.

A great story to share with everyone about Vegas Nightclub was about 14 years ago, my 21st birthday fell on a Saturday. Three of my fraternity brothers and I flew from Indy to Vegas for weekend to celebrate. We went to the Shark Club (bar owned by Tark) back in 91. Got in and never paid for a drink or shot the entire night. Tons of women bought my drinks and we got crazy bringing up the sun. I have tons of pictures from that night and hell I couldn't believe all the hot women that we danced with and bought my drinks.


I will be there from Thurs to Tues so I was looking to use this weekend as a time to set Vegas on fire and relive some younger days as when I get back it will be all business for football season. Gambling,drinking,partying, and friends. Can't beat it!
