YTD 12-22
SIDES 8-13
TOTALS 4-9

NJ brought home the money last night here.

Minny making its playoff run is only being asked to lay 3 to a hot Nugget team. I'll take the home cooking as the playoffs have started early in Minny.

Hmmmph... oh well, now we ARE directly opposite

small+ on DEN +3.5

best I can do is come up with MINN by .5 including home court. DEN is like a 62-20 team IMO while MINN is a 50-32 team. DEN has coaching edge and a hunger greater than that of a team which screwed up their season three ways and is trying to sneak into the playoffs with a late rally. A MINN win COULD still threaten to take all this DEN magic and turn it to dust...DEN totally focussed, no less than MINN...and simply the better team now...IMHO

Finny: I'm looking at this game from a totally different perspective. I'm asking what is the probability of Denver winning their 5th in a row on the road? In addition Denver goes home after the game to face Seattle tomorrow. I see a tired Denver road team playing over their heads coming back down to earth in Minny.

Good Luck To Us

Agreed on Minny, but my reasoning is that Minny knows that if they can clinch this win, they have a good shot of winning against Atlanta tomorrow while Denver dukes it out with the Sonics. Denver is playing great at the moment, but hunger and drive wins this game; The Pups made a statement with their clobbering of the Jazz a few nights ago. Denver almost lost at Memphis but the Grizz decided to give the game to them on a silver platter in the fourth. Minny won't do that and the Wolves will come out on top. Good Luck.

Well, we see that hunger thing differently...DEN seems hungry every game and I don't think they'll give MIN an inch. The refs in the MEM game did everything in their power to give MEM the game and DEN still was right there at the end. Burying the hapless Jazz hardly establishes anything. Really, only the MIN win at Sac showed real possibilities. They ARE healthier, they ARE playing pretty good...but not in DEN's zone. IMO line is off from 2-5 points.

And there lies the rub. The secret ingredient in home cooking is the refs. Calls will go in the home teams favor, the home team in this case being the best at the line. Should be a good game before Denver wears out in the 4th.

perhaps, but the MEM gm. featured 1-2 homer refs. to begin with...refs in general are pretty balanced...MIN doesn't even get to the foul line much, well documented ...DEN MAY have worn down a bit at PHX recently, but different pacing and no Martin for that game AND PHX is clearly a bit better than MIN

ok, enough... I believe there is mutual respect here, so on to the next game!

Have to give credit to Nuggets for making it 5 in a row on the road. Impressive, they didn't look ahead to Seattle today, coach has them focused.
