I would not be surprised if Rider win this game outright. In their last meeting Rider destroyed Manhattan by a score of 75-46. Manhattan is real bad this year. They just lost to Loyola Maryland!!! Rider is 9-3 in the MAAC while Manhattan is near the cellar at 5-8. Dont be afraid to take Rider on the +178 ML.

Yea, Opie. I don't see why The Jaspers are favored in this one. I just saw it went offline at Pinnacle. Lets see what happens now.

Santa Clara already destroyed St Mary's 65-42 @ St Mary's. Now they get them in their own building. I can't see Santa Clara losing this one in their own building.

This line is jumping. It opened up at PK and then jumped to Santa Clara +2. I grabbed it there. Then it went off the board and reopened at Santa Clara -1.

Surprisingly enough the line moved to Mahattan -5. I cant understand that. This Jaspers team is bad. Rider should win this game and at the very least cover.

The total on the Santa Clara game has come down to 136. I took over 137. The only thing that really scares me is that last time they played the total ended at 107.

You may wanna stay away from the over.

Why Mahattan -5? anyone sicks or out for rider? or Rider just suck beyond our believe or Mahattan are very good at home? Last time Rider won 75-46 and now are 5 points underdog.. Please tell me this is not trap!!

I'm looking at Santa Clara PICK... I'm going to avoid after losing the early two points. Early Bird and ALL THAT. Tulsa

I wish I could come up with a good explanation for the line, but I really can't. Maybe its because Manhattan is good at home. But Rider is the better team and has already demolished Manhattan. I dont see Manhattan covering the -5 even in their own building.

If you want to grab it now, its back to Santa Clara +1 at Pinnacle.

Looks to me like a "perceived" revenge line?

Don't teams usually play better against a team that blew them out in the first game, when at home?

Still this should probably be a pk line, something smells here, or it is simply a gift

if I'm not mistaken Manhatten had a couple of starters suspended in the first game.. I'm trying to remember if that was the game.

It very well could be a "revenge game". But bottom line is that Rider has been playing well all season and Manhattan has not. Manhattan has lost 3 in a row and 5 of 6. All those losses on the road. This is their first game back home. I still believe that there is no reason for Manhattan to be a 5 point favorite. Rider is still playing for postion in the conference.

Sho enough, 2 starters were out.....

http://cbs.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/gamecenter/recap/NCAAB_20050127_MANH@RIDER

Also Manhattan really hasn't played too badly, just the last 5 road games.

They beat conference leading Niagra at home, then only lost by 2 to them on the road.
They also beat Wichita State.

So, looks like the line may be adjusted to reflect a better performance with all starters this time and better play at home versus good teams. I guess.

Still taking the 5 seems like a % play. GL
