Race 1

(1) ARTFUL IMPULSE went a big mile in her seasonal debut last week. She remains at the same level, begins from the same post and comes from a top barn. (4) BAHAMA BLUE should be better in her second start of the season now that she's settled in from the ship from Florida. Seven-day rotation will be a plus for her. (6) ABS TO ENVY has been racing consistently all season, comes from Moreau's barn and is a good option in here.

Race 2

(2) PARLIA HANOVER moves into the Montini barn after winning three straight. (9) STRIKER ACE has terrific gate-speed along with a good record this season. He has the speed and likely will be put into play early. (1) TYSON BAMBINO gets the rail, comes from a high percentage trainer and enjoys racing on or near the front.

(7) PRIVATE PERFORMANC raced very well in her season debut last start. She has the speed, comes from McIntosh's barn and can only improve off last week's effort. (5) VILLAGE JESSICA raced well in the Blossom final and drops into a level where she should be much more competitive. (6) A FILLY AFFAIR raced very well at high odds with a good final frame. She'll likely offer a price once again and is a good option.

(3) JOSEPH GERARD might offer a price in this race and closed very well last week at a higher level. (9) O U GUS is fresh off a win, has versatility and comes from a high percentage trainer. He remains at the same level with the same driver. (2) OUT OF THE HAT draws inside has won four straight and is in top form heading to this circuit.

Race 6

(1) BURLESQUE gets the rail and is due for a win at this level. She has the speed, but lacks the knockout punch late in the mile. (8) HONI MAKER comes out of the Puddy barn and closed very well last week to just miss. (2) WINTER TERROR has won her last two of three, draws inside and comes from a high percentage barn.

Race 7

(3) RUBIS PRESCOTT was won two straight, draws inside and remains at the same level. (6) ONE NIGHT DANCE went a tough trip last week, but draws better this week and shows the speed required at Dover. (1) WILDCAT HANNA closed very well last start in the debut of lasix. She draws better this week and should be better positioned.

Race 8

(3) LYONSAURA draws well, comes out of the Johnson barn and has been racing much better in her last two. (8) ONE LAST BONO has been knocking on the door in her last two and enjoys racing near the front. (9) DING is fresh off a win at this level last week and will have to overcome the outside.

Race 9

(1) WINDSONG GEANT looks like the best in here if he minds his manners. (7) LEXUS HELIOS raced very well last week despite an outside post and drops in class this week. (4) ZUKAV put forth a turnaround effort in his latest. He draws well again this week and will look for a repeat effort.

Race 10

(3) MARQUISE DE SARAH has been racing at her best in recent weeks, draws inside and has been the picture of consistency. (2) LANESIDE LEXUS draws inside and has been much better in recent weeks for high percentage trainer Johnson. (5) ITS NO SECRET was too far back last week and will look for a closer trip. She has the speed and is a good option for the triactor.

Race 11

(2) BAROCKEY was the heavy favourite last week in this class and failed to win. I'll try her again from the inside post. (6) PLAY AT WYNN went a big trip in her latest. She draws better in here and remains at the same class. (4) LIVE TO DREAM finished third last week at high odds. She has some back class to her, is versatile and draws well.

Race 1

(3) BACK N THE SLAMMER added hobbles and won easily. Perhaps this 3-year-old first-time starter is ready to score at first asking. (5) GLOWNGOLD has shown ability at times and this isn’t exactly a scary group of trotters. (9) ATTAINABLE qualified in good order at Pocono. No reason to believe he won’t be ready.

Race 2

(2) INVESTOR VOLO got going too late and just missed last week. As long as he minds his manners he should have a big say in the outcome. (8) DOT DOT DOT DASH has proven herself here already but hasn’t started in a month. I have mixed feelings but have to include her underneath. (5) ACADIA AS bested my top pick with a perfect trip last time. (4) O NARUTAC PERFETTO stayed flat last time; not impossible.

Race 3

(2) NIKITES put in a good mile in her first start since last July. With that start under her belt, I’d expect a big effort tonight. (8) BREATHTAKING qualified well and seems to be moving in the right direction for new trainer Noel Daley. (4) EVIL FIGHT comes in from Dover with four wins in five career starts.

Race 4

(3) BLUEBIRD KIDSQUEEN has been in form all year and now finally draws a good post. This is a spot where she should take advantage. (4) LOLA DE VIE is clearly trending upward; must use. (8) DASH FOR THE CASH broke last time at Yonkers, but was facing better previously. Note that he posted a 1:54 4/5 win here last year. (1) CAPTAIN PRIMEAU has been racing pretty well.

Race 5

(5) WHEELS dropped to this level but had too much work to do from post 10. He should have every chance to get the job done on Friday. (3) DON’T KNOW CHIP has a big late kick and finds the right spot to make it pay off. (2) MARCH AWARENESS is back at the Meadowlands. He looks like a fit with this group.

Race 6

(2) MARINADE HANOVER gets some major class relief as she returns to the level of her last victory. (1) MACHAROUNDTHECLOCK raced well upon arrival from post nine; draws better tonight. (3) LEAVEUMLADY was used early the last time she raced here. New trainer Ron Burke was hot last weekend.

Race 7

(1) UNDERCOVER STRIKE was driven very conservatively in his first start of the year. He is cozily classified as a B-2 and really should take charge versus this group. (4) TIGERS TOO GOOD is in career form and just might be able to handle the class rise. (2) HIGH BRIDGE qualified back well and has ability. (9) REAL BABE is too risky in this spot. If she leaves and minds her manners, she’ll have a say. (7) NF HAPPENSTANCE has been overlooked in the wagering to some extend and paid nice dividends; capable.

Race 8

(9) UF DRAGONS QUEEN made the front last week only to wind up shuffled back to fourth on the rail. That start was against a far superior group. My only question is why David Miller opted off for (6) PARDON, who drops down to an easier level and has early speed. (3) BAD GIRL VEGAS finally gets a good post to work with.

Race 9

(8) ZUPPA INGLESE lost to a very sharp foe most recently. This 4-year-old mare is sitting on a big race. (4) VIPER BLUE CHIP returns to the Meadowlands at a reduced level. (3) MAGGLIO has likely been waiting for the week I pick against him to step up.

Race 10

(4) UPFRONTWHOSURLADY is one of many ho-hum mares signed on this event. She has been racing well enough to get checks lately and might step up at a price. (1) SHAWNEE DANCER flashed some late life last time. (6) DELICIOUSLYNAUGHTY could be a threat if sent to the front.

Race 11

(4) SWINGING BEAUTY was in a bad spot last time. I can see her coming up with a big effort out of nowhere in this rather evenly-matched group. (8) LORRIE PLEASE will be sent to the front and certainly faces the easiest group she has seen in a while. (3) MAJOR LOOK comes off a solid score; loses Callahan.

Race 12

(6) ALL ABOUT JUSTICE chased some good ones in his return qualifier. That should have him tight for this race. Veteran trotter should be able to handle this group. (2) KINGS CAVALIER should be close to the pace and adds Corey Callahan. (4) HASTY PROFFITT gets a better post to work with tonight. (7) MERITED VICTORY could be tough with a smooth trip.

Race 13

This is one formless bunch. (6) SEA CRUISE HANOVER hails from a barn that tends to send them ready when well classified. (1) SADIES PLACE adds John Campbell. (2) SAM SWIFTY will be driven by Pat Lachance, who is driving earlier on the card, heading to Yonkers, and then returning to drive this mare. If he is going to all that trouble, perhaps she’ll race well.

(3) IDOL KEMP Gelding moves his trade to the Hilltop. Did not race badly at Dover and it's interesting Sears takes over the reins. (6) LOOKING HANOVER Another Delaware invader with fine speed; main danger. (4) ON THE PODIUM was nailed for win honors last out.

Race 3

(1) READY TO WORK ran fourth upstate and that's a good sign for this 7-year-old gelding. Could top these at his best. (4) BAY FISHEN DOC rallied strongly to grab the show spot; contender. (5) RILEYS LUCK might land a share.

Race 4

(7) YAGONNAKISSMEORNOT is on a roll scoring her last two trips to the post. All systems go to keep on her winning ways. (3) IDEAL IN VEGAS has good speed and could be right in the thick of this. (4) SCANDALOUS HANOVER Pacing mare's last two tries indicates she is knocking at the door; beware.

Race 5

(1) CUTTY SHARK is back on the fence where this gelding went down the road three starts back. Ready to boss these. (2) ALL STAR DRAGON raced evenly in his latest; major player. (5) MAJOR STONE just missed the victory in his previous try.

Race 6

(5) LORENZO DREAM showed sharp early foot last out. He is very capable of getting the job done with Sears back aboard. (7) DW'S NY YANK was sent down the road for all the glory in his recent trip to the post; main danger. (4) TOBER has every right to be in the mix.

Race 7

(2) IDYLWOOD PHOENIX gets post relief and that's a good sign. This 9-year-old pro can make tonight a winning one. (4) ROCKAVELLIAN closed well last out to grab the place spot; big threat. (3) NEWBEGINING Even finish in his last start; not out of this.

Race 8

Will give (1) BACK TO THE WEST a chance to get back on the winning grove from the fence. (8) VIPER HANOVER Down the road victory recently but will try to make it two straight from the 8-hole; maybe. (2) SIGN OF THE MOMENT put in a sharp effort at Freehold last week.

Race 9

(1) QUAIL made her initial trip to Yonkers a winning one last week. She is sharp and ready to make it two in a row. (5) KEYSTONE WANDA has been knocking at the door based on her last three trips. (6) FASHION MYSTERY gets class relief; watch out.

Race 10

(3) AMIGO RANGER was very game in his last start here. Gelding seems to ready to top these at his best. (6) SIM BROWN got the job done last out via the pocket route; dangerous. (2) LIVE JAZZ is back at Yonkers from Saratoga and gets a cozy post; don't overlook.

(4) SOMWHEROVRARAINBOW skipped after the start but she made a great recovery for place money. Pacing miss is ready to take these to task for all the marbles. (5) MONKEY ON MY WHEEL Quite sharp in her last three trips to the post; threat in here. (1) ANNDROVETTE and (1A) SHELLISCAPE makes a solid Fraley trained entry; beware.
