Best Bet: TAKE A WALK (12th)

Spot Play: SENATOR SAM (9th)

Race 1

In a very weak field (5) MASTER LAD PRO has closing ability and will offer the right price. (4) SHE’S A JAILBIRD never got into the race last time but does show the most on paper; use caution. (8) BEAUTY CHIP mare is one of the faster trotters in the race despite drawing the worst post.

Race 2

(6) THE RAINCATCHER mare has excuses in her last two and finds a very inconsistent field. (2) JACKIE NO went a nice effort down in class holding on gamely. The 5-year-old trotter bumps back up in class but is a threat with a repeat of that last effort. (5) ABBEYCREST looks to offer low value and rarely wins; command a price.

Race 3

(4) MARY’S DARVIN is a good steer away from a nice piece and might be the sharpest horse in the race. (6) GIRLS WILLB GIRLS gets a significant driver change which has to be looked at. (1) MACAO appears to be in line for an ideal trip up close to the pace; threat.

Race 4

In a wide open race tough to handicap (1) GUN‘S BOUNTYHUNTER draws the best post and should offer a fair price. (2) THREE ROCK NIGHT well bred four year old is very inconsistent and is probably best used underneath. (4) FRISKIE PANTS hasn’t won in a very long time but does have a decent record hitting the ticket.

Race 5

(2) HERE COMES BUBBA looked to be making a big move last out before making a miscue. The trotter needed the start and could be sharper. (3) CARSON‘S VICTORY was the drivers’ choice and just needs to stay trotting for a piece. (1) MYSTERY RINGER has been off almost a month and could need a start; use underneath.

Race 6

(3) WESTERN MARK is coming off a nice race, picks up a top driver, and gets sent out for a new barn. (5) PRIME TIME POPPA would be my top selection in the race had he not been off a month; threat. (1) I KNOW YOUR LOOKIN raced gamely last out wiring the field and now gets an ideal post to try and duplicate his last race.

Race 7

(2) HRS MAJOR WINDFALL gets sent out for a hot trainer and drops in class. (1) CHIP‘S SHADOW has taken considerable tote action in his last few starts, gets huge post relief, along with also dropping in class. (5) MISS EVA CASH could contend for the top spot with a little racing luck and the right trip.

Race 8

(4) GENIUNE STAR N picks up the top driver and finds a good spot to do some damage. (2) LOMBO POWER SHOT A has been racing much better for a new barn and has been pacing faster than most of the field. (5) DAX HANOVER also gets a positive driver change but has lacked stamina late.

Race 9

(7) SENATOR SAM seven-year-old trotting stallion will offer a big price and might have some back class to call upon if he gets towed into it. (1) LONG STEM ROSE comes off a nice win and is right back in the same class; threat. (5) HIGH STAKES BANKER gelding is sitting on a winning effort but is handicapped by the driver.

Race 10

(4) SEE YA LATER DUDE is one of few contenders in the race and should offer the better price. (3) MAJOR MIKE was a game winner last out but will probably be overbet and could be a good play against. (2) FRY VALLY FREDIE gets a good starting post and should save some ground before shaking loose late.

Race 11

(4) TEAM ZORDIN well bred trotter comes off a long layoff but does have two decent qualifiers to go along with proven connections. (3) LIMA LUCKY is dangerous in this spot especially if the top choice needs a start. (1) CRAZY X LOVER has some ability and gets sent out for new connections; threat.

Race 12

(6) TAKE A WALK adds lasix for the second time and could improve off his last win. (1) AIRGUITAR ROCKSTAR made more money than most of the field last year, draws the best post, but has been off for a month. (8) DAWN OF TREY raced gamely last out from a tough spot. The pacer would need some racing luck but does have the ability to pace a big mile.

Race 13

(4) POLO JOHNNY could have raced a bit better last start, however he finds a weak and inconsistent field. (1) WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN needed his last start, picks up the top driver, and gets the best post in a wide open race. (9) SHOCKBBYELECTRIC couldn’t close ground against weaker; use underneath.

Race 14

(5) B COR THOMAS takes a good drop in class and has been trotting faster than the field. (4) LEGACY CHIP has just been trotting evenly and would need more to get past the top choice. (6) MAKIN GREEN LAVEC was going really good for a while and does have ability despite racing inconsistently.

Race 15

(9) AE WESTERN INGOT showed a big burst of speed last out that could signal a turnaround with a smooth trip. (5) FLYING METRO finds a very weak field full of question marks and did race better last out. (1) BLUE SCOOTIN MATT comes off a scratch but gets the best post in a bad field.

Race 1

(8) DIAMONDS PRINCESS gets Jamieson in the bike, has the speed and versatility along with a very capable trainer. (4) BAD GIRL VEGAS draws well and enjoys being put into the race. She moves up in class, but that doesn’t worry me. (3) MACHNBYRD PRINCESS finally draws inside and has a solid overall record. She closed very well last week and should be closer to the front.

Race 2

(6) HOLY MOLIE MAGGIE drops in class where she won two starts ago and gets Davis, Jr. back in the bike. (8) MOPEY COREY drops in class and has hit the board in each of his last two. (1) JUSTALITTLEFASTER draws the rail and has a patented closing kick. The rail is the best spot for him.

Race 3

(4) VIOLET BAYAMA failed as the favorite last week, but draws better in here for her off-the-pace tactics. (2) MY SECRET BELLE has hit the board in each of his last two starts in this class. (7) P L HULA comes out of the Blizzard Series and into this class. The class relief should help her tremendously.

Race 4

(10) DOCS HOPE drops in class and is due for a win. She’s been knocking on the door and will need a clean trip from the outside. (3) LIVE TO DREAM draws inside and has been racing very well in her last three starts. (2) MIA SEELSTER has also been racing very well and races at her best when she’s put into the race. That should happen from post two.

Race 5

(5) PARLIA HANOVER has won two of her last three. She moves onto this circuit and comes from top trotting connections of Henriksen and Larsen. (3) ALEXANDER LUKAS has been a threat in this class and is capable of stepping up. Jamieson aboard is only a plus. (8) MUSCLE ON BROADWAY has the speed but needs a trip. He closed very well last week to finish third and gets Zeron back in the bike.

Race 6

(9) REVIVAL ROCK won at first asking last start off a long layoff. She moves up in class but should be even better in her second start off the shelf. (3) WONDERFUL CHARM draws inside, but has failed to win as the favorite in each of her last two in this class. She gets Jamieson back in the bike and likely will be involved early. (8) TRUE REFLECTION won in this class last week and gets Zeron once again.

Race 7

(2) SAYITALL BB hasn’t tasted defeat in six career starts and is the horse to beat. (3) MURRAYFIELD hasn’t been worse than second in each of her last five starts and is a logical option for the exactor. (1) LYONSAURA draws inside, comes from top connections and has been racing at her best in her last two.

Race 8

(4) MISSEVIL is a perfect one-for-one to start her career and did so in comfortable fashion. She’s capable of the class hike. (7) MAKE SOME MEMORIES moves into the Laus barn and hasn’t missed the board in five career starts. (8) ILL BEA STAR TOO has won two straight and enters the Montini barn. She’s in top form and may offer a price.

Race 9

(8) TURBO DONATO tasted defeat last week for the first time in six starts. He’s the horse to beat at this same class. (2) ORDER BY COMMANDER draws inside, gets Jamiueson back in the bike and has hit the board in each of his last four starts. (3) LOKI DE VIE was the favorite last week before making a miscue. He was certainly on his game two starts ago and will look for a turnaround effort.

Race 10

(7) ADDISON BAY has won two straight in this class and closed from last-to-first last week. (6) MARQUISE DE SARAH has been racing at her best in her last four starts. She has excellent gate speed and is a major player in this dash. (3) RUB N TUG also has excellent early speed. She finished third in this class last week and has a lot of back class in her favor.

Race 11

(4) SHES A MANIAC has been on fire since arriving in the Auciello barn. She just missed last week at a much higher level. (8) DREAMFAIR ECLIPSE hasn’t been worse than second in each of her last two starts and drops in class. (3) TRAMA UNIT draws well and is fresh off a win. She likely will offer a fair price even considering her victory last week.

Race 12

(8) BEE FULLOF STEINAM has been knocking on the door in this class and is due for a win. (7) MIBESTKEPTSECRET enjoys leaving the gate, gets McNair in the sulky and hit the board in this class last start. (5) ITS NO SECRET closed very well last week and draws better. She should be closer to the pace this week.

(6) BLACK HAT raced well at the Big M. Now this gelding takes a shot at glory on the half-mile oval; the one to catch. (1) COME TOGETHER showed late pace at Monticello recently and Pierce takes over the reins. (2) BLUE STRIKE was sent down the road last out for the victory as the chalk.


Race 2

(3) BLUERIDGE TORNADO raced evenly in his last trip; good chance he'll move forward to take home the top prize. (1) SOME LIKE IT HOT retains the rail slot and she will be on the engine once again. (7) MAGGLIO can be right in the mix.

Race 3

(5) SLEEK HUNTER is better than his latest. Gelding is proven to have tactical speed and versatility. Commands respect based on connections alone. (4) OUTA MY HEAD is knocking at the door based on his four straight on-the-board finishes. (1) ECKSTROM should fare quite well from the fence.

Race 4

Given the best of the draw, (1) CREIGHTON HANOVER could be ready to fire his best. (4) ALL STAR DRAGON put in a even finish last out. (5) STRONG SIGNAL could have a say with these.

Race 5

(2) PERFECT PICTURE put in two sharp efforts at this level; she gets another shot at glory. (1) BLACKTUXWHITESOCKS posted an easy score against lesser last time around. (4) SOAPY SAP got the job done last out at the Meadowlands.

Race 6

(7) RAMALAMA was sharp in her last trip to the post, so this gal has plenty of upside potential; primed to boss these. (8) ECONOMY TERROR took most of these last out in wire to wire fashion. (3) MAGIC STARLIGHT gets serious post relief.

Dover Downs invader (1) YAGONNAKISSMEORNOT draws the rail slot and could take this if she brings her 'A' game to the table. (4) PRECIOUS ROSE N has wheeled off two straight victories at the Big M. (2) CAT CORA beat lesser company in her latest.

Race 8

(7) ZOOMING was nailed for win honors last out; all systems go this time around. (8) DWS NY YANK just held on recently for the score. (4) WAR CRY HALL could be in the thick of it.

Race 9

I'll try (6) REFLECTION ON ME to make it back to the winner's circle tonight; might prove best. (2) CARMENS BEST beat lesser two trips ago here. (3) FUZZYLEGSANDALL put in a even trip in his last try.

Race 10

(5) DIABLO SEELSTER closed strongly last out at the Meadowlands. Gelding fits with these and could be tough if he gets away well. (1) JW RACER got the job done last time around against lesser company. (2) TOUCH AND GO posted a sharp effort for win honors last time at Freehold.

EARTHLY DELIGHTS - A big drop in class figure points from his January 12th race at Tampa Bay. Based on that key piece of info, I will give this horse the edge. The jockey and conditioner combination have a beneficial return on investment when they partner up. Have to give this gelding a good shot. Ran a nice effort last out within the last thirty days. TARTANERO - Could be a possible overlay right here at morning line odds of 8/1. Finished fourth in last race at Calder but was close at the wire. This gelding is rounding his way back into shape. Should run well today. This gelding is clearly on the improve with Equibase speed figs of 22, 47, 51 last three out.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 SEA ZAR RUN (ML=5/2), #9 SUPREME PRIVILEGE (ML=3/1), #1 TALK SHOW TALENT (ML=5/1),

SEA ZAR RUN - This runner will probably be near the back of the pack as this group crosses the finish. SUPREME PRIVILEGE - Caution must be used since bandages were used on Dec 29th. TALK SHOW TALENT - Doesn't seem to have enough good aspects to warrant the value.
