(929) TEXAS RANGERS
(930) SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS
Take "(929) TEXAS RANGERS"

Scott Feldman is looking to stay perfect on the road as the Rangers visit San Francisco. Feldman has made four road starts and has won them all. There's nothing wrong with Randy Johnson right now, as the Big Unit has been sharp lately. But there's not much doubt about which team has the better offense, and with Feldman continuing to register mostly quality starts, I'll look the Rangers way tonight.

(923) OAKLAND ATHLETICS
(924) SAN DIEGO PADRES
Take "(923) OAKLAND ATHLETICS"

After playing the Dodgers this week, the A's now head to the bottom of the NL West to face the pitiful Padres. San Diego's offense is terrible and Oakland has a terrific young arm in Josh Outman. He's 4-1 with a 3.43 ERA in the AL, with 53 Ks in 65 innings. Lefty Chris Young of the Padres is in a huge slump, at 0-3 with an 8.78 ERA his last three starts. San Diego has had a tough week, losing 5 in a row to the Angels and Mariners. Play the A's.

Atlanta Braves vs. Boston Red Sox Boston:

Records

Atlanta Braves 31-34, 16-17 away (Kawakami 3-6, 4.54 ERA)

Boston Red Sox 40-26, 23-9 home (Matsuzaka 1-4, 7.55 ERA)

Betting Trends

-Braves are 1-4 in their last 5 overall.

-Braves are 2-5 in their last 7 interleague games as a underdog of +110 to +150.

-Red Sox are 7-1 in their last 8 overall.

-Red Sox are 28-6 in their last 34 interleague home games vs. a team with a losing record.

-ATL are 2-8 in the last 10 meetings.

Love betting on interleague games as you get to see some nice matchups that you won't get to see rest of the year. The Boston Red Sox are almost unbeatable in interleague play with the best record over the last few years (57-19 in their last 76 interleague games). Neither one of these pitchers have been very good lately so don't be surprised for the scoreboard to get used early and often. BOS has a much better lineup and at home are almost unbeatable. This one is too easy!! SCORE BOS 9 - ATL 5

Red Sox -150

Lady Luck: Today's WNBA best bets

Washington Mystics at Atlanta Dream

The WNBA’s only perfect team – in the standings and against the spread – is the Washington Mystics, who visit the Atlanta Dream on Friday night.

The surprising Mystics are 3-0 straight up and ATS, with two of the wins in road games at Connecticut and defending champion Detroit. New coach. Under bettors are loving that new coach Julie plank has the Mystics ranked third in the Dub in points against. They’ve cashed their wagers in all three Washington games this season.

The Mystics also lead the league in scoring margin at 8.0 but with scoring rookie Marissa Coleman out at least four weeks with an ankle injury, Washington may be leaning on its defense even more.

The Dream also have been a bit of a surprise, getting off to a 2-2 start (2-2 ATS). In its inaugural season a year ago, Atlanta lost its first 17 games before winning two in a row.

The Dream are next-to-last in 3-point shooting at under 23 percent.

Pick: Under

Chicago Sky at Connecticut Sun

Sylvia Fowles goes for her third straight double-double Friday as the Chicago Sky visit the Connecticut Sun in the back end of a home-and-home series.

Chicago (3-1) improved to 3-0 at home (2-1 ATS) with Tuesday’s 78-75 win over Connecticut as Fowles had 17 points and 10 rebounds. She had 12 points and 15 boards in Sunday’s win over Seattle.

But Fowles had a season-low four rebounds in a season-opening 102-85 loss at Minnesota. This is Chicago’s first trip since.

The Sun (1-3) are 0-2 at home, averaging just 65 points at Mohegan Sun Arena. They were under the total in their first three games before Tuesday’s season-high output.

Pick: Chicago

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Washington Nationals
Play Under 8½

Well the line is acting a little screwey with the Nationals opening up as dogs at +102 and 93% of the public is on the Blue Jays yet the line has gone the opposite way! Now I'm not about to back a Nationals team that can't hit a lick off LHP. .214avg on the season at home and .167avg 2.19 R/9 last 5 games. Nationals are likely fighting for Manny Acta's job as they took 2 of 3 from the Yankees. What this told me was Vegas is expecting a solid performance out of Jordan Zimmerman here today and abounce back performance from Brian Tallet.

Tallet came off 3.1IP 8ER against the Marlins. He'll likely have a bounce back here today in my opinion. Earlier in the year he had 4IP 10ER against KC and came back and pitched 7IP 3ER. Two games ago he pitched 6IP and gave up 5ER and came back with a 7IP 0ER performance so he's well capable of the bounce back start. He'll have a good chance of doing this against a Nationals club that has been struggling with the bats even against the Yankees at Yankee stadium they scored 3 games in each game.

Worth noting: Nationals are under 12-2 in their last 14 home games. The ball park is huge and this one will stay under as well.
