Conditions could be less than prime tonight due to the weather; however, we have to expect some big upsets. I have seen this before where high winds sap the frontrunners and leave the glory to the closers. Mohawk however can be a tough track to close on so I am between that rock & hard place
This one will be a "living document" where we'll have to adjust once we see who it favours. At this time I have no idea what the track will be like OR which direction the wind will be from etc.

I am only laying a Win wager on this horse as I have a hunch that the surprise could come from "Donven Promise" . Donven should see light support and have fat odds - WPS (heavier on the P/S for me.)

Race 2: Raging Heart
Not certain after last weeks disappointment that she will pull thru for me but she has the class to take this field..and the 1 hole...and the early speed to get out first. She will be closely contested by "Excuse me HAnover" & "C'mon Mama Cass". You can wathc the tote and make your own call but I like Waples and the higher odds that this horse will take

Race 3: For the Luva Moni/Queen of Jewels
Take your pick. Should be there together. Only downside for Luva is the 8 hole. She can get out front early though. I will be tote watching on this one , looking for the most value and hitting something hard. Sorry about the vagueness.

Race5: Jasper Avenue
Tough call here. I'll take Jasper WPS
Keeping in mind she'll have close company. My guess is that she will be first out and in the lead fairly early. Please & Ascending will be hard closers. May sound funny but if the wind seems to be hard on the outfront horses (should see it by the 5th), then closers will be key. Please me Please would be my next logical pick. Pay attention to this. otherwise I'll be looking at exotics

I am using a real longshot here and will bet WPS but heavy on the show likely. He should go off at 15-1 or more against this field and I am hoping he can pull another surprise out of his hat.

Could be a tight one here as well.
Oubendon should be up there as well.

Might get a good price on her as "Makeba" should be the fav. WPS
