I'm a huge longhorn fan, but they scare the hell out of me this year. Their schedule is tough and I see an 8-4 season.

Texas is an enigma. There are lots of questions

1) Will Mack be a hardass like he was in prep for the bowl game? At least 4 starters lost their job between the TAMU and bowl game and Mack got the team ready. Can he keep that momentum and attitude going?

2) Can McCoy be a better passer behind a better OL? Let's hope so.

3) After Quan and Shipley, who will be the WR/TEs? big ? there

4) Who runs the rock? Losing Jamaal hurts but we always seem to have a stud RB back there every year

5) How quickly can Muschamp turn around the dee? We lost a lot of guys on dee, but considering they sucked so badly, that may not be a bad thing

6) Will Chiles bring much to the table to spark the offense?

lots of upside to the team but lots of questions to go along with it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I think he's saying is that you can earn a few free dollars by taking the over at one of the sites and the under at the other based on the different juices they are offering.

That's exactly what he is saying.

There's a $500 limit on these bets most places.

So, you bet both ways (i.e. over 8.5 @ +135 at one book and under 8.5 @ +115 at another for the maximum both places.)

Then you make either $15/$100 bet or $35/$100 bet depending on what hits.

So for $1000 total action, you would net either $75 or $175 (5x$15 OR 5x$35).

Woohoo!

The way you pick games, anything in the black would be a miracle. Clearly, this was not posted for people like you that keep $500 offshore. If you have the bankroll and don't mind tying up money for 3 months, it gives you a rooting interest on teams and a little free cash. You should do it Conan. It might be the only $$$ you make all yr

Whormoan, truthfully, in my line of work I could take that $1000 spent over the same period of time and turn it into $3000.

I don't see anything attractive about collecting $75 "interest" on $1000 for 3 months. For the action involved to collect this kind of chump change, and the hassle of moving the money around in an out of offshore accounts to collect it, I wouldn't bother. But yes, it's free money but not very much.

Get real. This is a gambling site, not a scalpers blog of how to chisel books for nickels and dimes and bitching about who's not paying bonuses as expeditiously as you wish they would, or bragging about all the names on your cell phone or your palatial estate in San Diego. Who gives a fuck.
