I am tired of these fast food joints pulling these advertisement scams. They promise to give you free shit and when you get there the franchise cries that they are overwhelmed and can't give away the free items anymore or that they ran out.

Corporate offices put these franchise owners on the spot by making them deplete their inventory and run up huge bills with their vendors and then only reimburse them the "cost" of the items based on one huge buy and not their actual "invoice cost"or sell price. Of course those reimbursements don't trickle down to the franchise location for 12 weeks. Plus not to mention the everyday business they would lose because the normal paying customers are looking for a free handout.

I hate the franchise locations for refusing to give you the promised free shit but I don't cuss them out or anything. They are just trying to perform an honest days work and don't have any say in the promotions and special $.99 sale items.

Ho'

Orange County chick-fil-a's have free snacks all week from 2-5pm.

I wandered in to get a late lunch around 3:30 today and wondered why the place was jam packed (for that time of day....overall wasn't too bad, maybe 10 people in line with 2 registers open)

Turns out today was a free 8pc. nuggets. I think it's fries tomorrow, cone on Wednesday, strips on Thursday & a brownie on Friday.

I usually would never go out of my way for these types of promos (Grand Slam, etc.), but I'll probably take my daughter for a cone on Wednesday & grab a 3 pc. of strips on Thursday if the drive thru doesn't look too bad.

Chick Fil' A is a stand up company they always give away free shit. The go around to local businesses and hand out tons of free sandwich coupons and always send you something free in the mail.

They aren't a greedy company. A little pricey compared to other fast food chains but they make it up in their charity, freebies and by giving their employees Sundays and holidays off.

I wish other fast food chains would look at Chick's business model and copy it. Eliminate the $.99 wars, and the crappy "New" food items and just perfect what made them popular. Mcdonald's should revamp their signature items and put better quality into them and Taco Bell should go back to what ever meat and cheese suppliers they used in the 80's and 90's because the shit they use now is gross. I haven't had taco bell in over a year. Del Taco is far superior.

Agreed on all counts...I've mentioned before that CFA has given me free shakes and stuff on multiple occasions if my 5 year old is with me....Best quality fast food and hands down best CS.

I only eat FF a few times a month but stay far away from Mcd's and TB.
CFA, Del Taco are the best....Wendy's and Carl's decent.

I've yet to eat at Sonic....Only one I recall seeing in OC was in HB somewhere.

you guys are lucky.... no Sonic, chic-a-fil or white castle up here in Canada... and Soo Michigan, right across the border, is too small of a town for those chains.. we only just opened a first Starbucks outlet where I live now, and it's in a grocery store of all places.
