You're right, I always ignore the ML...But I do tend to at least consider a play when the spread moves against a high strait bet %. As the day goes on we will see how this pans out.

the line move is more signficant in my opion when it moves on/off key numbers, as is the case here. I put more stock into -3 moving to -4 than I would -7.5 moving to -9.5. In general that is. NIU is the play

Yes, betting based on line movement is a very iffy proposition, at best. Big money can make losing bets just as easily as the guy who puts 10 bucks on his favorite team.

Did anyone watch NIU last week at Ball State? That team looked terribly overrated to me. They looked awfully slow.
