[h=1]New motion in Vanderbilt rape case alleges coach James Franklin contacted victim[/h]

Tony Gonzalez of The Tennessean reports
that the 24-page motion from Brandon Vandenberg’s lawyers contains allegations that Penn State coach James Franklin had a meeting with the victim prior to the attacks asking her to help with recruiting.

“Coach Franklin called her in for a private meeting and told her he wanted her to get fifteen pretty girls together and form a team to assist with the recruiting even though he knew it was against the rules. He added that all the other colleges did it.”

College football is like a soap opera. How will this one end up?

I hope so. Hate that bastard. But as someone who works in criminal law, this is a hail mary by the defense.

There must be a 50 ft long 2 ton snake that hangs around the AD's office at Tennessee. They have a knack for hiring sexy choices but then the snake does his thing and it is downhill from that point on.

He is right in that all (top) schools do it.

Yes he's right they all do it , BUT , it's not the head coach at other schools that are recruiting these female students.

Could you imagine a man of faith like Mark Richt recruiting females to shake their booty for recruits ?

Franklin is a dumbass and a dirtbag. I'm glad he went to Penn St , thats where he belongs.

He'll be fine. He'll do two things: L&D (lie & deny)!

CoachLT taught me that in my early years on the fire department.

Somewhere at some school in the south (could have been Tennessee but not exclusively,) I have heard of some co-eds that received $10,000 "just" for being paid hostesses during official visits during the course of a recruiting season. I would sure like to see what kind of nookie we are talking about.
