My intent is to keep personal attacks out of the offshore, so that we may somehow entice the more knowledgable posters to post. Why would Krackman even consider posting a response to that thread? And why would you feel the need to put it up knowing it will lead to attacks?

I am not condoning touts, but Krackman was insulted here last week and even though that is settled & resolved, we have lost him as a poster. He is a informative poster. I do not like to see posters like that stop posting over insults in the forum.

Even in your frustrations with him, he can still supply you guys with good info on offshore betting.

I like krackman. I've met him and just spoke to him on the phone a few weeks ago. I'm not bashing him here, as people can do whatever they want with their picks(although put side by side with his previous comments about touts, it looks kind of silly).

Posters come and go (usually dozens of times). If he is tired of the forums(can't really blame him, sometimes), so be it. No reason for you to become so dramatic about somebody choosing not to post for a while.

Fair enough Kosar. Having just spoke with him last night, I understood where he was coming from.

Frank knew that post would lead to nothing but insults, so why the need to incite bad karma?

Fair enough there also, but 'inciting' is usually encouraged here. Plus, I don't see what's so bad about FF starting that thread. For better or worse, most people *would* find that information interesting and perhaps useful in one way or another.
