Forum question for Key CFB Contributors

Just for the hell of it...would like to ask key contributors to this CFB Forum their take
on who will be playing for the final four spots for the national championship this season.

RunLeeRun, CoachCB, GoSooners, Roll Tide and Mr. Mack...who are your 'EARLY" teams
to play for the national championship?

I have my 'way to early prediction' but our gang would love to see yours.

Clover: Stop putting so much pressure on this "old man"...ha. You know I don't post selections; I let you younger guys, who know more about modern-day college football in your little finger than I know in my whole body. Like I've said before we have some (sharp) savvy handicappers in the Rx. Besides, I feel honored that the Rx "Forum Boys" let me tag-along and put my .02 cents worth into the mix every now and then when serious discussions arise. Everyone likes to contribute, even in a small way.

I tell you what I'll do......I will make a final-four prediction and post [it] by months end here in the CFB Forum (on one condition); You have to let me contribute an (equal) share of the $1000.00 of which (You) will over-see. If those teams make it (to the final four), WE will donate the funds to a recognized charity that would align with sports (preferably football).

I haven't got around to evaluating everybody yet. But I can tell you 4 teams that probably won't be there, but will get a lot of futures betting action...Bama, Georgia, tOSU, Oregon

I have finished my SBC and CUSA PR thus far

I currently have
Marshall, AppSt, WKY, GA Southern as my top 4 in no particular order. I'm guessing things are going to change

Right now, I got:

- Florida State

- Oklahoma

- SEC Winner

- B10/P12 Winner

probably in same boat. I think FSU will be very good and likely comes down to Clemson game for them at home but I wouldn't be shocked if Louisville took 'em out in Sept. So I'm good with FSU there and agree on Oklahoma. Can never write off Bama but it I don't see them going b2b here. If LSU can get even Coker-level QB play they are the team to beat so let's put in LSU and FSU and Oklahoma. Then you have tons of questions from teams in B10 and P12 and then Boise becomes the big question mark. A lot will have to do with how highly they are ranked preseason but running the table at 13-0 could net them a playoff spot. I won't agree with it but it could happen. You also have Houston out there but they would need to go unbeaten which means taking down Oklahoma and Louisville. I don't think anyone in SEC East will be in playoff as UcheaT will lose title game against Miss/LSU/Bama

I don't think it is beyond the realm of possibility that both FSU and Clemson get in the final four if they only have one loss between them. Especially if the BIG champion has 2 losses or the Pac-12 beat up on each other again. If OU should lose twice I think Clemson and/or FSU would get in over a team like a one loss Baylor with their weak ass schedule...Granted, it probably won't happen with two teams out of the ACC. But right now FSU and Clemson are probably at their highest level of national respect than they've ever been. Especially Clemson.

Looks like a good Final Four Clover...I'm still trying to find that one surprise team that we always seem to have about every year..
