Mods,
When I used to post the Forum consensus years ago, this thread was kept up on the top in order to not have to keep bumping it up for all to view.
I'd like to see the over under thread up there too.

Hopefully you support this.

Thanks in advance!

Here is and interesting record I kept from years past of the Forum consensus poll winning percentage. FYI, the missing years are the times I wasn't posting the polls.

2002 POST SEASON TOTAL WINNING PERCENTAGE WAS AT 64%.

2003 POST SEASON TOTAL WINNING PERCENTAGE WAS AT 78%
.

2004 POST SEASON TOTAL UNKNOWN

2005 POST SEASON TOTAL WINNING PERCENTAGE WAS AT 60%

Three season poll record:

67.3% Win Average

Not bad ,

I'm taking the more balanced and more physical and more bad assed team, Pittsburgh.

I believe it's midnight for Cindy, although Warner and Fitz scare me some. I don't expect the Cards to have any ground game, and the Steelers will implement a blitz package to disrupt their passing attack.

Steelers by 14+ fo me

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

Hasn't it been something like 6 years or something since a fav covered the SB? I'm just going off the top of my head. Just off the top of my head I remember cashing in with Carolina, Philly, TB and NE just to name a few during this decade.

For me, I'm taking the more established running game and sounder defense. PHI -7. Personally I think they win by 13

Why I'm siding with the Steelers

No question Pittsburgh is the better team here. AFC is where the best competition was, thus making the AFC championship game the toughest game to date.
Arizona has had a good run, but I dont think the opponent competition level was at it's best. Atlanta had the Rookie road QB, Carolina QB flat out sucked and gave the game away. Phily was coming off a very phyisical game against a division rival, didnt show up til the second half, and damn near won the game.
Two weeks rest along with the first round bye should be enough for Pittsburgh to put forth a good effort. I dont see the Steelers having near as much trouble moving the ball as they did when playing Baltimore.
As far as Arizona goes, I dont think they will be able to have any kind of a balanced attack against the top rated defense to be effective. They will make plays, but Pittsburgh will keep them all in front, making the big plays improbable. Their front line is good enough to not only stuff the run, but put pressure on Warner allowing the backfield to play agressive.

Pittsburgh should get stronger as the game wears on and should not have a problem controling the second half.

2TT

STEELERS -1
Over 40

Also playing prop play: Rothlesburger over 17.5 pass completions.

Action parlays:
2T
Steelers -7 and over 46

3T
Steelers -7
Team total over 27
Rothlesburger over 17.5 pass completions

The action parlays are from a local that didnt give the favorable 6.5 point spread..

HAVE FUN AND GL!!
