this Plavich guy from Charlotte? He takes shots from 8 feet beyond the line and drills 'em.

He made one against Indiana from half-court and it didn't even seem like a desparation heave.

I forgot Stoudalmire, but you're right - he is up there too ... but JJ is simply overhyped because he plays for Duke.

Plavich is 4 for 4 already today.

I have watched a lot of UNC Char games that played out just like this one in regards to Plavich. He starts out hot because people don't realize on film how good he is. Then they get in his face in the 2nd half, and he fades.
