I like to follow a guy on Twitter who is on top of a lot of the action in the Vegas sportsbooks. He's sent 2 other reports in hockey like this in the past since I've been watching him. One lost and the other won. He passed this one along today.

Not sure where it's coming from...But the Entire Strip is Adjusting the NYI/DET (NHL) TOTAL towards the OVER...Some Pro must have Unloaded !

Proceed with caution.

Not sure where this guy gets his information but the total on this game opened 6 pick 'em at most locations and a couple had the over at -115. The line has not moved on this total.

Secondly, at $500 limits on NHL totals it doesn't take much to move a line here. I don't think there's any steam on this game.

All that being said I wouldn't want the under on this match up!

Why would a "pro" buy into a 20 cent line of Las Vegas?

Over at -101 with Matchbook looks like a absolute bargain when you compare them to the twenty cent lines of Las Vegas.

more incentive for the wings tonight. 1 win gives them 50 wins..4 seasons in a row tying 70's boston and montreal. babcock will become 1st coach with 4 consecutive 50 win seasons since mr bowman did it with montreal.

wings play most of their last games at home..good chance to win presidents trophy. i'll take the wings over 3.5 with mr macdonald in net. and wings by 2.

Well, that's a couple of good points. I just called him out on it. Let's see what he's got to say.

The other day I listen to a podcast of Scotty Bowman on the fan590 out of Toronto from last week and he was asked about the Wings and their chances down the stretch. His reply was the teams they needed to be careful of was the non playoff teams because they had nothing more to lose. He mentioned the Islanders in perticuler.

I'll be interested as well. I was just thinking... All Harrah's properties are a 30 cent line in hockey!

The only place that offers 10 cent lines is the Hilton and that's on sides only. Vegas is not hockey bettor friendly.

Vic. If your watching the wings tonight...their big rookie I was telling you about early in the season is in the lineup. No.52 Johnathon Ericsson. Last player selected in the draft a few seasons back.

Did he ever respond?

I just checked out his twitter page and web site. Smells like he's just trolling considering he's in it with Larry Ness, Del Genio. Stephen Nover couldn't pick his nose when he had a column with the Review/Journal. Last I heard he was with VegasInsider. Apparently he's down to his third strike with these guys.

I give this Vegas Runner guy "A" for effort and marketing but question his connections, validity, and results. I'll give you 3/1 he is not documented with any legitimate sports monitoring service.
