To bad it's not a house. It's a condo my friend lives in the same complex it's nice but the units aren't very big. The units are all right on top each other.

For about $800 a month I know of an available house in the mountains. 3 or 4 bedrooms with amazing views. A very good deal.

For about that price I rent a 5600 sq ft house in the mountains (Heredia).

If you're willing to drive a little bit, it's worth getting out of town. I'm 45 minutes from Sabana Sur in traffic, 25 minutes without traffic -- faster than it was driving across town.

Adam, that's a bitch of a drive during rush hour. Only reason I never looked on that side of town. But it is beautiful up there.

If you come in after 9am and leave after 6pm, it's easy. Midday and evening traffic Heredia <-> Sabana is so much lighter than San Pedro <-> Sabana is. Commuting from Rohmoser was great, but I had 1000 sq ft for the same price.

Just a question. Where abouts in Heredia? I live up in Heredia myself . I was looking for another home and rent the current house. Just curiuos since we're neighbors and all. And maybe there are actually cheap places in Heredia still.

Monte de la Cruz, near the Castillo Country Club and the Hotel Condessa.

You might consider buying property and building a place. There are at least 3 new houses in our residencial this year, and they're clearing land further up the hill.
