I tend to trust Pinnacle over a democratic run electoral college websight.

Several things here:
1. This line is still pretty much middle of the market. I don't think you'll find much out there now better than Bush -150.
2. I've been watching Pinny's line for months and for the longest time they leaned fairly obviously in the other direction. So I suspect they got rather Bush-heavy and may be trying to attract a little money the other way to balance themselves a bit.
3. Wasn't Houston right around +146 last night? We all know that the favorite never loses.

You have to be kidding me. I trusted Pinny last night when I took Boston -130 for todays game.

Pinny has no clue how the election will turn out.

(Fish did you grab under 29 1/2 states at Pinny a few weeks ago?) I did then they moved it to 29 states. Bush cant win 30 states can he??

i do think that bush will win but, i agree with try*3 and d2bets...pinnacle's goal is to make money on the election regardless of who wins. they are just trying to draw equal money on both sides. i know they are a sharp book but, i would tend to think the presidential election is a little out of their field of expertise. when they have a lean on the nfl or international soccer...i believe them. if they have a lean on the election, i don't think they "know" anymore than anybody else.

try, I wouldn't play that if I were you. Bush won 30 last time, and I believe he could win 30 (or even 31) and still lose. For example, if he picks up NH and Fla/Oh but drops Wisc and Iowa.

I actually played Bush O28.5 (-104) when that first came out. Way I see it, if he can't win 29, then he has ZERO chance to win. But he could lose and still win 29 or 30. A pseudo-middle/hedge on the Kerry +200 that I have.
