Why am I not surprised....

another florida state player suspended/dismissed from the team for assaulting a woman... Two years ago we were dealing with an alleged sexual assault case from the immature Jamie's Winston, now back to back incidents involving underage players at bars, beating the crap out of women.

theres only so many times the Tallahassee Pd can cover up these instances before jimbo starts to fall under scrutiny. In my opinion it's pretty clear jimbo isn't trying to recruit quality individuals. He's a fantastic manager of big egos, but basically I'm comparing him to joe torre. He's great because he can manage and deal with these large egos and players who can't stay out of trouble, but he's only worried about winning at all costs. Maybe these are isolated incidents......but maybe there pointing to some deeper problems within this program.... I'm being presumptuous here, but I'm guessing it's the latter

After similar incidents involving physical altercations with females at Tallahassee bars ..
FSU Quarterback De'Andre Johnson has been dismissed from the team.
FSU Tailback Dalvin Cook has been suspended indefinitely.
FSU Head Coach Jimbo Fisher : "We will do better."
FSU President John Thrasher : "I have asked Coach Fisher and Athletics Director Stan Wilcox to develop a plan to help our student-athletes understand the consequences of these kinds of actions."

Both charges against the football players are misdemeanors.

The one thing I take away from this:

Their QB depth must be good.
At RB, apparently not so much.

I just crossed out his name with my red highlighter pen. Its been a rough summer from a negative publicity standpoint for FSU (Free Seafood University), they down to 3 returning starters on offense, although they did sign Golson.

What gets me is that Fisher thinks that if he makes all bars off limits to all of his players, things will improve. Why punish the entire team for the stupidity of just a few players? Why not try to recruit players with something other than a ghetto mind? Players who can actually spell their name without having to look at their student I.D. card? Fisher and Florida State are obviously hoping that the ban works, but all that will do is cause problems within the team. Try recruiting players who have one ounce of brains in their head, instead of the ghetto mentality that infects the team.

There's a petition on a change.org to get the QB reinstated. It's unreal how delusional FSU fans are. They stuck by Winston's side 100% and are willing to do the same w/ these two retards.

Beat a woman in a bar, lots of witnesses and video. Beat a woman in a private location, no video, control of witnesses. Jimbo is clearly trying to keep his team from beating women in public...

I just heard the police report from Cook last year on his torturing of puppies. Thug life I guess. That's the FSU way.

nice kid....

Dalvin Cook was cited in Tallahassee last summer for tethering three pit bull puppies together with a “heavy chain;” according to animal services, they were unable to move, two were choking, and the dogs were left out in the rain without shelter. This news was first reported by SI’s Andy Staples.
Cook, a star running back at Florida State, was arrested last week for allegedly punching a 21-year-old woman in the face outside a bar in Tallahassee last month, and has been suspended indefinitely.
Cook’s citation last summer came about a month after he and two teammates were allegedly involved in this BB gun fight, which was reported in October by the New York Times:

Yeah, what a piece of shit.

He committed to Florida (along w/ WR Ermon Lane) and they both backed out last minute and went to FSU (thank God!).

I can't wait to see how this plays out. I'm guessing he gets ZERO punishment from the school and all charges get dropped.

If Fisher allows him to play so much as one down this season, Florida State will basically be blackballed from the NCAA Playoffs. They finished undefeated and the defending champs last season and were seated 3rd, behind one loss Alabama and Oregon. That is what I call sending a message. Last year's message was about Jameis Winston. The Committee had to include an undefeated Florida State team, but had they lost as much as one game, TCU or Baylor would have been in. Florida State is NOT going undefeated this season.

They lost a lot...their OL is very inexperienced. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose as many as 4 games....but 2 or 3 is more likely.

if it happens 1 or 2 times, shit happens with all these young kids but FSU has had to many... there is a cultural problem there that is going to blow up in a matter of time. you cannot bring that many bad apples into your program with out the shit hitting the fan.. i have very little respect for Fisher and how he has handled these kids... or his wife for all that matters ! the guy is not a leader.. in due time they will be saying we pushed out Bowden for this guy??

Pretty good Sendacash (Free Seafood University), hadn't heard that one. Loved the ole ball coach when he tagged Florida State as (Free Shoes University).

Jimbo better get a handle on these player problems. Word out of Tallahassee is the University President has had his fill of player misbehavior. He's had Fisher in once this off season and read him the riot act. Have a feeling things are about to get much tighter on players whether Fisher supports it or not!

Fisher should move his practices to the bars. That's where his players seem to do their best hitting...
