this line started at 3 1/2 I think, was up to 6 1/2, I just got the Tennessee +6 @ WSEX and Tennessee +200

I like getting 2-1 odds when the line should be around 3 IMO

big money must have pounded Fla on Monday

This is going to be a hell of a game with big numbers. The winner will need to score over 30 points

This lack of respect is Fulmer's bread and butter in the locker room, however it doesn't take much to get us riled up for the Florida game, especially when Spurrier was there.
I look forward to the Vols introducing Urban Meyer to the SEC and hating Urban Meyer with equal passion in the future

Do yall think this line will go back down?

I'm with you Volhound.......this week anyway.

No way does Florida deserve to be a TD favorite over the Vols. Have any of you removed your Urban Meyer glasses and taken a look at the talent on Tennessee's defense? Do yourselves a favor and take the Vols on the moneyline......and watch the Meyer implosion.

Pete, that sounds like wishful thinking on your part. The line is a little high, I admit. I will be at the game and will not be financially involved. Tenn will see plays that UF has not shown so far. The atmosphere will be electric. This is what college is all about. Go Gators! LT

The line has been bet into shape by the early wiseguy money. The line was about right, now over inflated slighty, but probably not enough as Gators have to much offense for the defense that looks so good on paper.

Tennesse under achiver so far, could change here but very very difficult to win in the swamp.

Coach, Are you saying that if Meyer lost to Tennessee there wouldn't be a meltdown? I beg to differ.

Wishful thinking? I do not have a dog in this hunt (other than the $$$$ I have on the Vols +7), because we'll have an opportunity to play both of them.

I'll be there Saturday, of course, because the woman who knows most things is a Gator.

This has to be some scalping. Even if Meyer has cleaned up Spurrier's mess, it seems a bit premature to spot this many points to any Volunteer team.

Agree. Too many points.
Tennessee will win this one outright.

Well.....

Live here in Jacksonville and have heard many things on local radio regarding this game. What sticks out in most of the players' minds is Clausen up there directing the Florida band, and the fact that they just can't shake it! They want this more than the Georgia game, even though they lost that one too!

Meyer will pull out all the stops in this game in front of the Gator faithful in one of the biggest contests of the year. Didn't Tennessee almost get caught sleeping by UAB? The adjustments were made, and UAB could move the ball well, especially against the Vol secondary.

This game is a no play for me, though I think the Gators are going to make a statement that "King Urban" is here to stay, and will win by at least 10...

Just my .02, peace everybody...

Will be at the game too. I see this one as a coin toss....I can promise you one thing though...you will see a much different Tenn team with much different looks on both sides of the ball than you did against UAB. If I had to play this one I would say take the gift of the points and watch as one of these two teams kicks a field goal to win in the final minutes. Hopefully I will be drinking champagne with all the GOOD OL BOYS after the game as I have in the past two years I have gone to GVILLE. TPC SAWGRASS sat morning....Vols victory Sat night....I could die and go to heaven a happy man.

GO VOLS!

I'm going to sit on this line and watch Tenn become 7-7.5 point underdogs and then hit it. Yeah the place will be insane in Meyer's first game, but Tennesee is still the #5 team in the country with the talent to prove it.

I see some good value there, but I am looking closely at this rising total. Florida will have a hard time protecting Leak, imo, and with the Tennessee QB issues, I really like this under especially if it gets up to 50. 2 very good defenses.

It's at 49 at quite a few outs, up from 46. I'll be very happy to get 49 1/2, though, if I can't get 50.

wouldn't be surprised to see a 21-17 or 24-17 type game.
