I see an early line for Florida tomorrow is out at -3.

Dont know much about bama but I think Florida is capable of winning here without much trouble.

Hook me up with some opinions dudes...

By the way - what is the xgames shit, these freaks are ruining my OT experience with their ads.

Anyone else encountering this dilemma?

28wins-31 losses on the season
(14 for 30 ATS (1 push))
(5 for 6 buying points (buying helped once, but many times it helped my bloodpressure despite the cost of -170))
(7 for 15 on the 4 team 10 pt teasers [payout -120])
(2 for 7 on the ML: wins of -260 and -235)

Jaw, IMHO, buying points in hoops is a waste of money. Good to keep track, I think you will discover is doesn't pay in the long run.

Alabama is a tough place to play on the road in the SEC....They have covered their first 2 home SEc games easily...Florida lost on the road to Vandy pretty handily and they covered at South Carolina earlier in the year...You can take the points here but if it becomes a play for me I will have to take Bama....Good luck....

Alabama must find a way to score without Earnest Shelton as its hosts conference rival Florida on Tuesday.
The Crimson Tide (11-5, 3-2 Southeastern Conference) were rolling with three straight wins before Shelton went down with a sprained right medial collateral ligament in Wednesday's 45-42 win over Georgia.

Shelton, averaging a team-high 15.5 points, will be out indefinitely, leaving a big offensive hole for Alabama to fill.

``I think it really hurts us,'' Crimson Tide head coach Mark Gottfried. ``We don't know how long it's going to be. Any team that loses their leading scorer, obviously that makes things a lot more difficult for you.''

Alabama struggled without Shelton on Saturday, losing to Mississippi 71-60. Antoine Pettway had 25 points, six rebounds and three assists to lead the Crimson Tide. Kennedy Winston had 15 points and Demetrius Smith had 12, but the remainder of the team was 3-of-15 from the field and turned the ball over 18 times.

Pettway opened the game with a jumper for the only lead Alabama enjoyed.

The 22nd-ranked Gators (12-4, 3-2) have lost two of their last three games. David Lee scored 10 of his 12 points in the second half to help Florida end its losing skid at two games with a 68-52 victory over Auburn on Saturday.

Guard Anthony Roberson made his first six shots en route to 21 points for the Gators.

Florida's full court press proved to be the difference in the game, forcing 22 Tigers turnovers.

Florida has won five of the last six regular season meetings between the two schools, winning most recently in Gainesville a year ago, 75-56.

The Gators last loss to Alabama came in their last trip to Tuscaloosa two years ago. Pettway took a perfect pass from Shelton and laid it in at the buzzer to give then-No. 5 Alabama a 65-64 win over then-No. 8 Florida.

fvck you think to much, have you ever heard the phrase Paralysis by Analysis. Well, stop over analysing this game. Shelton is out, the line is a bucket or less with the better team. It doesnt matter what it would of been if he was playing. But I can tell you that if he was playing , I would probably be taking Alabama. You aready have the answers listed above. What more do you need. Check the numbers with Shelton playing, ex the last 5 games, you will see that even with him playing they were struggling. Now with him gone, how do you think that stat is going to go up or down. Pull the trigger before the line goes higher, I know it will.

ok co cap

you got me

Here it is

Florida -2

Still looking at Purdue but I'm having paralysis by analysis.

Which I might add can often be a good thing - surely better than being on the wrong side of a game - right?

Your 80 percent sold on Purdue, but here is something to make you starting thinking again. Do you know that starting F/C Booker for Purdue is questionable for this game due to academics. If so , what is his status do you know for sure.

he is out and has been for 8 weeks.

This team has done a lot in 8 weeks and I believe it will be a nonfactor. If they can beat division leader Wisconsin and they can beat Illinois AT Illinois without him then they can beat indiana at indiana without him as well.

I'm gonna play this one for the fun of it:

2 team parlay (buying points) that pays out at +172 if it wins.
Purdue +3, Tue@7:00p
Florida -1, Tue@8:30p

J, sadly the only thing I have a strong feeling on is not buying points in hoops

Otherwise, the games are tough for me to see today. Alabama game has lots of variables, everything says take Florida, except a little voice in my head. I can't figure how Shelton's absence will factor in, while I think injury's in general are overrated, they mean more in hoops than say football, IMHO.

No help here, but wish ya luck!

keep chiming in GoUH your insights are appreciated.

Make$$$ sorry if I offended you, I am honestly the last person who wants to start shit - its just odd to me that you have a POD email list and that you type in caps and that you always 'seem' to have lots of threads going at once with a common theme of a lot of hype and not too much discussion.

Maybe im reading into it too much but i guess I'm just questioning your motivation...

then again I suppose I can guess that your answer will be:

to MAKE YOU $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Jaypaw,

Congrats on your win with Texas last nite. When it was confirmed Toma was not playing, I decided not to play the game. I was kicking myself till Mouton hit the 3pt. OUCH!!!!

I like Purdue tonite. Big rivalry game and I hate laying points on the road but, Purdue is the better team. Indianas wins have come over Ntw, Ohio St, Minny, & Michigan, none of which are going to be in the big dance.
