Spoke with a guy who does jiujitsu with both of them, says its a joke that Fitch is +310, says Fitch is way better on the ground.

Umm, not quite. GSP manhandled Koscheck in wrestling a fight or two ago. Koscheck is the guy who pretty much trains Fitch's wrestling.

In jiu jitsu, GSP is training with Renzo Gracie and is now a brown belt. The Gracie's don't give away belts like some trainers do, and a brown belt is very good with Renzo.

Fitch is no slouch either and has his black from Dave Camarillo but the way he teaches is it incorporates judo and is different. Also much easier to get a black in, although not a cake walk by any means.

GSP should have the wrestling and submission edge.

PS, since his only submission loss, GSP has fought BJ Penn, Jason Miller, and Matt Serra (three of the better submission guys in the fight game) and has avoided the sub. They all have better subs than Fitch.

Not a fan of that bet. Maia is possibly the best jiu jitsu guy in MMA. MacDonald is a submission fighter who has shown little power. How is he gonna win this fight? He doesn't have the grappling Maia has... He's not going to win on the cards easily. If he can avoid takedowns he has a chance but I'm betting on Maia. MacDonald is a good fighter but Maia is the worst matchup for him ever.

PS, the only underdog I took was Rob Emerson. I'm about the only one I know of who likes him though.

I dont know, just going what he says, he just flew back from Hawaii and was submitting BJ Penn. He said GSP too scared to train with him, and Fitch has more heart.
