Can't trust LSU as chalk this fall, but outside of their one hurt year in '02, they have been excellent in bowl play under Saban, while Ferentz will have his gutsy team focused as well, with only their effort vs.USC in '02 as a negative in bowls.
LSU has been winning short all year, but has one of the top 3 Defenses yet again, so Iowa needs to be on their game with the pass vs. a great run stop/pass rushing unit. And with LSU being fundamentally weak for lapses this fall with youth, expect a few wrinkles from Ferentz in trying to spread the ball around for what is working that day, with Tate throwing swing passes and intermediate routes to blunt the pass rush with some deep balls..should be a feel-out game for most of the 1st Half.
The Under is the play..specifically the 1st Half Under.
