Is that supposed to be a compliment, Michelle? First Lady urges young Pennsylvanians to back Clinton over Trump because 'it's not about voting for the perfect candidate'

First lady Michelle Obama paid a visit to La Salle University in Philadelphia today and admitted she knew that some young people were not enthused about voting for Hillary Clinton. But asked them to please do it anyway. 'Remember it's not about voting for the perfect candidate, there is no such person,' she said, as the first lady sporadically hit Donald Trump for his 'birther' campaign and some of his debate claims, though refused to utter his name.

She reminded the college kids that their age group actually won the White House for her husband, President Barack Obama, the second time around.

'In 2012 voters under the age of 30 – yay for you, that is not me – you provided the margin of victory for Barack in four key battleground states: Florida, Ohio, Virginia and right here in Pennsylvania, you all did it,' she said to cheers.

'But hear this, without those votes Barack would have lost those states, he would have lost the election, period. End of story,' Obama continued

She told the crowd that it's just not true that one vote doesn't matter and that while President Obama won Pennsylvania, an important battleground state once again, by 300,000 votes, in reality that's only a difference of 17 votes per precinct.

'Take that in. Seventeen votes. That's how presidential votes are won and lost,' the first lady said. 'Each of you could swing an entire precinct by getting yourselves, your classmates, your families to vote. That's it.'

Obama then issued a warning to those tempted by third-party hopefuls like Libertarian Gary Johnson, Green Party candidate Jill Stein or to the folks who have pledged to sit at home because they're still Bernie Sanders or bust.
'You could swing an entire precinct in her opponent's direction by a protest vote or by staying home out of frustration,' Obama pointed out.

'Because here's the truth: Either Hillary Clinton or her opponent will be elected president this year,' she continued.

'And if you vote for someone other than Hillary or you don't vote at all, you are helping elect Hillary's opponent,' Obama warned.

Clinton's lead last month among voters 35 and under fell from 24 points to 5 points in a recent Quinnipiac University poll.

A Fox News poll had her leading Trump by 9 points.

The Quinnipiac poll had Clinton beating Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson by just two points among voters aged 18 to 34 years old, 31 to 29 percent. Green Party candidate Jill Stein was at 15 in that survey and Donald Trump had 26 percent of the youth vote.

By comparison, Barack Obama won 60 percent of voters below the age of 30 in the 2012 election.

Clinton's campaign acknowledged Wednesday that it had Sanders out stumping for the candidate because of his popularity not just with young people but also with progressives. It also had First Lady Michelle Obama out on the trail today in Pennsylvania.

Desperado Hillary now buying young voters.

”Clinton then took the stage and spoke about a number of the compact’s key points including her plan to reduce interest rates on student loans and how future college students whose families make less than $125,000 per year will be able to graduate from a public college or trade school debt free. Speaking of her own experience following graduation she said, “I could never have done that if I had the kind of interest rates a lot of people are facing. We are going to fix it. This is wrong.” Clinton said that she believes it is wrong for the government to profit on students’ education.

Funny the Dems are showing their true colors. Scumbags, power thirsty, and could give a fuck less abou anything except pushing their agenda of complete government control.
