I started last season winning my first 9 or so top plays because I picked my spots. Tonight is going to be one of them. Im taking the LA Clippers. I am going to look pass last game and so should you. Could they have played better yes but some would say they just played the best team in the nba. The level of competition tonight changes drastically. With no 7 footers to worry about down low and pesky defenders all over the place, the Clippers are going to be able to play a lot more comfortable infront of their home crowd. And Im not talkin about just 1 or 2 players. Things are going to open up much easier for baron and the rest of the team is going to improve because of it. Expect a better game from Kaman. He avg 16.5 ppg and 15 rebs in 2 games vs nuggest ly and shot 78% and that was against one of the better defending centers in the league with Marcus Camby. Al Thornton could arguably be the most underrated player in the league. Hes going to give Kleiza all sorts of problems.. He was the teams leading scorer last game and things should only get easier tonight. If your hesitant about this play remember the nuggest are not a western power. In my opinion they are a season away from seeing some people get fired or traded. Then remember they are playing without their best player. Melo avg 28.5 vs clippers in the 4 games last season. Thats alot to be missing especially when you are on the road playing a team who will be desperately trying to win after getting blown out by 38 in the season and home opener. On paper the clippers have a better team. The nuggest will struggle this season and miss the playoffs
