Hi guys, I have my first 5* play of the year going off Saturday.

11-7(+10.5*'s) on the season.

5* Iowa(-4) This game has ROUT written all over it in my opinion. Iowa St came from way back to cost Iowa an eventual shot at a National Championship last year in a game that Iowa dominated for a half+. Iowa seems to be less affected by the starpower losses from last year's club than Iowa St and Chandler is making very good decisions and has many top notch weapons including Fred Russell and Mo Brown. The Hawkeyes will dominate the line of scrimmage and get a little revenge for last year winning this one 35-17.

Good luck all.....Back later in the week with the rest of Saturday's action.

Initially I liked Iowa here too, but after spending some time on it I have my doubts. Hawks are 0-5 SU & ATS L5, gm is @ Ames, and most important their emotional leader on D Sanders is out. Just a word of caution. LOL

I'd be careful here. I like Iowa and they have completely outplayed State so far, but Iowa State has almost as much talent as Iowa, have beaten Iowa 5 straight years, and are playing at home. Hard to lay more than a field goal on the away favorite in this matchup. Good luck on it though.

it`s one of the 2 i posted this week...even though sanders is out, projected all big 12 def end tyson smith is out for iowa st.....and iowa gets def end derrick robinson back off suspension.....

the recent trends seem to go against us....i like to think it`s about time for the law of averages to catch up here for the all-round better club...

Thanks bear,

I also like your lean on Notre Dame. I think that the number is a little high, I had it at Michigan 6.5 and think that the adjustment is based on Michigan rolling it up on some sorry competition.

Good luck Saturday and I will be back overnight tonight with the rest of my card.

Hi guys, Back with rest of Saturday's action:

4* Wake Forest(pk) As much as I liked Purdue going into last week, their bubble was burst in a stunning loss and although they have revenge in mind here, they are running into a team that is sky high and playing their biggest game in years here. Wake will give Purdue fits with multiple sets on offense and defense and Purdue has serious depth issues with 89% of all passes thrown last week to just Stubblefield and Standifer and the starting defensive backfield played nearly every down and were taken advantage of in the second half by Bowling Green. Deacons win and Boiler backers start calling for Tiller's job.

4* Wash St(+5) Tough spot emotionally for WSU here, but Colorado is in off two very tough ballgames and I think this one comes down to a field goal so will gladly take the 5.

4* Memphis(+5) Like dogs with superior offenses and no question who has the better offense here. SMiss offense was blanked by CAL for cryin out loud and managed only 17 points vs a rebuilding UAB defense. Memphis likely wins this one outright.

Best of the rest:

3* West Virginia(-7)
3* UCLA(-10)
3* Notre Dame(+10)
3* Boston College(-4.5)

Check back one more time at around 4:00 on Saturday Central Time as I may add a game or two on the night card!!

Good luck all......Bookie

Just not impressed with Colorado running game at all and favorites that can't run the ball against quality opposition are generally a no-no.

Good luck with your Rutgers play.
